If you let us sort by Oldest First, you must give us pages
If we get to sort by Oldest First, you must give us pages back. Infinite scroll trying to browse a long thread makes me want to toss my table. I demand page anchor links on the right rail at a minimum!

If it would be an option then those that wanted it could have it, and those that like the popular function could just not use it if they don't want to. Everyone wins, no need for compromise.

6 RisposteThis is [i]exactly[/i] why I don't use the oldest-first method. Honestly, most of the relevant and important content in a thread is either the most recent posts or those floated to the top by likes and activity. If we revert to oldest-first and pages, we'd just be going back to the days when the only posts the majority of the community read were the OP, the first few posts, and the last page. If most users are reading the first and last posts, then they should be using the newest-first style anyways.

I don't know, this new design is far more comfortable than browsing back to old pages.

Agreed, its the only reason I'm sticking to the popular format. Infinite scrolling isn't very fun.

Only reason I came back to the mains is because we now have oldest-first, but I can't browse alot of threads in some of my groups because they're so large I can't navigate to the end, there aren't any pages.
