Maybe rejoice? I like most of what you said. The takeover happened 2 yrs ago... and as of Q1 of 2025 they officially said Bungie is a 1st party studio. Sony wasn't going to invest, especially in light of the losses of Concord & Lego Horizon... the failed live service initiative without 2 things: 1. Recovering from those losses 2. Recouping most if not all of the purchase price It's called "risk assessment and analysis". Solvency promotes growth and allows for investment... Loss and "debt" do not... using the term 'debt' respective the cost to purchase Bungie. Those losses have been covered. And it looks like Sony covered that 'debt' too. In addition, a top performer amongst their 1st party portfolio. A top performer despite having the worst networking and security in the history of the franchise. Coming off the culmination of a 10-year saga with massive systematic changes... a smaller expansion with significantly less content, at least to start... And the worst morale and community sentiment probably ever. These are markers for potential growth. Or more as we found out. 40% growth in net profits when the game is arguably in the worst state it's ever been. I don't think that... but it's a reasonable assessment. So, you invest. You fix all that stuff. More money. You integrate as they have done for some of their most successful franchises. Upper-level management becomes redundant (the money men) because production is diversified and de-centralized. You keep the creative talent and add to it both at Bungie proper and satellite studios complimenting them. If the engine is now capable of being run on dedicated servers... you do that. Sony also knows about other media and merchandising. You do that. So.. maybe rejoice? I'm not saying that it is happening... but all signs point to it could happen. Likely to happen. 😇👍💠

I’m just gonna preface this by saying I don’t care what you agree with or decide is palatable about my comments regarding your fantasy about this game and your weird baiting and personal attacks when you can’t provide real facts. My comments are my own and are 100% dead on as a player. Don’t mansplain or geeksplain how Sony bought the franchise years ago and blah blah blah…no kidding. You provide smoke and hazy facts or personal attacks always. I don’t think I mentioned the Sony acquisition was a new thing, so don’t posit it that way at all. No way this game is behaving in a way the purchasing agreement had guaranteed. That said, when Sony fully absorbs or kills Bungie after their failure to meet the buyout expectations, this game is done. I wish it wasn’t, but prolly so. You knew that would become obvious, because you do not play the game... so you hid your profile, but forgot about Destiny Tracker where your account pic, that must be uploaded... is just your hair. And your social media... like Instagram. You further made the claim that Bungie exploited their player base for money. I explained that the hair care and cosmetic's industry is so much worse. I certainly found that amusing, but I don't care what you do with your hair bud. It wasn't a personal attack... you internalized that. If weird personal attacks are your only defense, then heck yeah, I am fully behind my criticism of the game. WTF does your weird and creepy take on a picture of my bed head I posted for fun have to do with the state of this game? A game that I used to love? You can DM me for personal pics if you really want to love on my appearance, but none of that makes this game any better. You really need to do better. Your personal attacks on people wanting better from this game are creepy. You kinda seem dangerous.
