I think it will be fine. 1. There is a lot of animosity towards Bungie now coloring people’s attitudes towards the game. 2. This community always gets sour when they bring out of stuff to do, and we’re 4 months past due for new content. 3. Bungie created this problem by letting people think they could keep power forever…yet still have cool, powerful stuff to chase. You can’t have both…and the only way to have cool loot is to let the game clawback power. I said that ehen Sunsetting first dropped. I said—-when Bungie caved to the pressure—-that we had won the battle on sunsetting, but had lost the war where having cool, powerful loot to chase was concerned. I said the problem that needed sunsetting to solve hasn’t been fixed…wouldn’t be fixed….and we’d be right back in the same corner in two years. …and here we are. Again. Bungie had to find the stones to do what this game needs to have done to make it sustainable, and tell us as a player base to just deal with it. So they can stop wasting so many dev man-hours fixing the same problems over and over and over again.

  • My opinion is solely based on what they showed us and told us about regarding Edge of Fate and the Fate saga, looking back through the lens of experience. I've finished the Dark and Light saga, I've got closure, and I'm making the consious decision not to carry on my journey in this game. Not being a D2 player while having seen it at its best and worst, I believe I can be objective as I have no skin in the game this time I think your also confusing constructive critisim with negativitiy towards the game, and Bungie, while the fact is their decisions always have been numbers based, and what streamers are saying. Bungie are going to do what ever they are going to do, only turning the ship when they see the iceberg, but to late to avoid hitting it. Final Thoughts With the new world tiers being functional layers of RNG, adding extra grind, and slowing down player progress. Weekly rotating missions also slowing down player progress and again adding layers of RNG. I see LFG becoming toxic and excluding players in favor of efficiency in high level activities. This game, going forward into a new chapter of Destiny, is poised to become a massive grind treadmill, which will chew up casual and hardcore alike I will look forward to be proved wrong by Bungie and the players
