So when is this, "We're doing something about cheating", happening?

1 RispondiUntil Crucible is behind a paywall the cheaters will largely exist IMO. Make Crucible a PAID ONLY privilege and the cheaters will be reduced, and the remaining will be isolated and quarantined, eventually. That said, Bungie's revenues will collapse and the game will finally enter the death throes of final annihilation. No matter what, people will cheat and use anything they can to gain self gratification and financial gain. There is NO game safe from this behaviour from the lying, cheating and manipulative scum as a whole. The steps taken by an anti-cheat system etc IMO are effective only when the platform suits the security protocol. Making things F2P invites demons into a sanctuary, and should that demon gets expelled, 7 more are returned in it's place. Bungie is too actively ASLEEP to accept hardline truths to prevent harm to their community. They simply "cannot enforce" their own policies due to overbearing importance placed on their revenue streams. Bungie keeps justifying their actions far too much from a corporate earnings stance. Greed is all encompassing. Money is the root to all evil. No matter what, cheaters will always be in game. They need them there to make up the numbers.

They put that out only because of the aztecross video. There are whole clans of known input device cheating and still no bans. In fact, you’re more likely to be banned by mentioning device names and brands.

Most likely to be similar to their action on progression hindering bug : no clear time frame, probably never until player number drops really bad and they scramble to make a "fix" for "we're listening" post

I don't think it ever will happen. Especially when a percentage of players [i][b]still [/b][/i]refuse to accept that there are cheats in the game, even though we've had a huge apology from Bungie about this matter. These blinkered fools look at someones K.D and that satisfies their tiny minds.

I actually got a notification when I logged in today, that they took action of report It's the second message I see since April and I probably reported about 10 cheaters during this month So it's not perfect but at least they do something

1 RispondiMy brother in light! Cheaters will always find a way to cheat. It's only a matter of time, same goes for cheating hardware a lil' update and they are back in business. Only thing we can do is record them, make a ticket and pray to the entire Greek pantheon, maybe then they'll get banned. (For a day or 2 while they create another account xD)

4 RisposteWhen the game industry as a whole figures out a solution to the massive cheating problem in fps games Destiny is not an outlier in that regard right now. EVERYONE is having the same issue, to similar if not greater degrees.

2 Rispostenext dlc, they are moving away from manual bans , they will add auto bans( no idea why they waited this long ), but cheaters will still be in the game ( like every single game in the planet)

2 Risposte2 weeks before release of edge they'll announce suing cheat makes for 69 billion & trials streamers will get pop ups saying a person you reported has been banned. & Then absolutely nothing will happen. Copy & paste at this stage, they're snake oil salesmen trying to sell you something so telling the biggest complainers what they want to hear
