For me, I'd rather do dungeons solo for the dungeons themselves than the loot cause I love the detail in them. Loot is a bonus for me.
Id rather they do 3 levels in dungeons with different rewards in each.
Hero (purely for the solo player that enjoys the details in dungeons and the scenary and walkthrough): powerful rewards, low chance of exotic to drop
Normal: pinnacle reward, slightly highly chance of exotic to drop
Legend: Artifice rewards Inc the pinnacle, moderately higher chance to drop exotic
In terms of catalyst, I'd say probably normal or legend.
As said, I'd love to solo some dungeons cause of the graphics detail and music and atmosphere like grasp, warlords ruin

Become a titan main, vespers is a cake walk up to final boss and its the easiest solo class for sundered doctrine.

Dungeons are not designed for solo players on purpose. It’s a fireteam activity. If u wanna solo it, it will be much harder. But that’s something you’re choosing to do. We do not need an easy mode that gives basically the same loot. It ruins the point of a dungeon. If u want the loot or wanna go sightseeing or whatever it is that u wanna do, then play the dungeon.

5 Risposte“I don’t do solo dungeons for loot but solo dungeons should be easier and still provide the same things players would get for doing the harder difficulty”.

1 RispondiBut then streamer xyz would cry that everything is too easy and that people need to work for their loot and they cant provide carries anymore and their ego is hurt that others can engage in endgame content aswell and even if its slight chances on drop rates, the "worse" players can have the same loot they get. And you know damn well that cant happen! We cant include the massive majority of players in all the content to gain player numbers, no! We need to make the game as unappealing as possible just so only the unemployed moms basement 24/7 gamers can do the new content! Atleast thats what the current Bungie dev team apparently wants...

Ya that be nice! Never understood the hight difficulty no scale to team modes...

16 RisposteI have been suggesting different versions of Dungeons & Raids for about a year. To help Players acclimate to them, get better at the game and train themselves for more difficult and rewarding versions of activities. Often you get Gatekeeping Elitists who say that such content should remain exclusive to them which is very anti-consumer and harmful to the games playerbase and lifespan. My suggestion for the difficulty progression would go like this, starting with the easiest and least rewarding. Solo/Story Mode - Designed for solo play and lacks awkward mechanics like memorizing pictures and communicating them to a team. Intended to get Players acclimated to the layout and the types of Enemies they will face. More advanced mechanics(like the above mentioned picture memorization/communication) are hinted at. Matchmaking - Same as Solo/Story Mode but with higher enemy/boss health pools and damage output. Intended to get Players used to working in a team. Co-Op Mode - The mode we currently have. Any further difficulty versions will be basically the same at this point on. At the moment, the game just throws players into a fire and says "figure something out" and for the most part the majority of the Playerbase isn't willing to teach less experienced and/or skilled Players the ropes or what to do. So instead the game should provide Players with the tools they need to get good. All objections to the game taking steps to help Players get better at the game or allowing them to see more of what they paid for and are sacrificing hardrive space for are invalid.

For whatever the reason behind it, I’d like this idea. I find it odd that some people find the endgame too hard - but this would help them understand the content and get better at it. It would also offer a path for people to practice doing solo dungeons and scale the difficulty up as they improve. Good idea.

1 RispondiSalvations Edge straight up needs the timer removed(normal). It's an artificial difficulty plain and simple. look at the clears for it and it's -blam!- compared to all the other raids.

2 RisposteI get it, but lets leave the Dungeons and Raids for the big boys. Bungie have dumbed everything else down for the casuals as it is.

Yea I agree 100%. Would be doing more dungeons if it was like this.
