I’m not a fan of this, for one large reason.
If the seasonal weapons are not craftable, then that means I need to keep 1-2 (depending on how much I like the weapon) rolls of it with the vault space that I don’t have. That means what, like 9-18 slots filled in my vault and 3 characters?
Or we could just have it to where the weapons are craftable again so that way if I want to craft that crappy no reprieve shotty from way back when, then I can go ahead and do it to find out that I want to dismantle it (“safely” knowing that I can craft it again in case I want to). But I guess that may just be me and a lonely few.
If this is the new direction moving forward then I might be parting ways after growing up with this game since Day 1 of D1.

It's a trash change, and we all know it.

1 RispondiModificato da Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 10/9/2024 8:09:59 PMI genuinely enjoyed the red border pursuit. I have like zero motivation for the season itself now. And the sad thing is that its removal was needless because multiple acquisition methods can exist simultaneously. Instead, a portion of the fans lose theirs for no good reason. Makes no sense. Garden craftables are the most exciting thing this season. I’m sure the dungeon will be a great first run as always, but they have remained so unrewarding with zero player agency for the weapon chase so I’m sure it’ll just be another one to the list of not replayed by my group. Get the exotic and never touch it again.

1 RispondiPeople like us that enjoy crafting are apparently in the minority because we aren’t the hardcore streamers so bungie doesn’t care about us. Crafting was in a great place. Seasonal weapons and raid weapons were all they added to the pool. Seasonal weapons made sense since the content rotates out so get to them later is almost impossible and reliant on banshee or xur and if we’re lucky them adding back a piece of the content like exotic missions to grind. Raid weapons made sense to since they also have adepts to earn. This gave the hardcore loot chasers something to go for and people that don’t have time can still go for the crafting weapons. I’m hearing rumors that bungie wants to use crafting as a ketchup mechanic which is so stupid. If you’re going to make weapons craftable at any point it needs to be done from the start. Not later. So glad I never bought the season because them not making the weapons craftable just to increase player engagement is so dumb.

Idk why. I think EVERY gun that releases now should be crafrable.

2 RisposteSo you played all of D1 since day 1, which had no crafting at all, but now that they've taken it out of one season, and only for seasonal gear, you're going to quit? Interesting but it's your time!

Idk if it’s possible but I think this issue could be solved if bungie allowed us to save our favorite roles through the collections tab. Otherwise not being able to craft the revenant weapons was a huge mistake imo.
