Tell us how much raid/dungeon exotic boosts actually give
Is it 1% each for the initial drop? This is pretty important information you just have never given out and left us to speculate.

1 RispondiIdk what the base odds are but they seem pretty bad from seeing my friends’ odds. I almost never complete many runs before I get my solo flawless so all I can say is I pretty much always get the exotic within five or so runs after doing that.

If it makes you feel any better, you're just as likely to get the exotic with boosters as you are without. Its just a placebo. "i got the exotic to drop in 2 runs with all the boosters but it took 8 runs to get all the boosts" is the same as "it took 10 runs without boosts"

Like just give me the dungeon crossbow it’s the ONLY good loot to come out of the whole dungeon. And I run it almost every week, still nothing! 😭

2 RisposteWe'd need further context or those numbers would be meaningless. If they came out and said each one gives you +5%, we wouldn't know how to apply that because we don't even have the base drop values. Would be nice to know all of that info but not holding my breath.

15 RisposteBecause it’s a lie. It does absolutely nothing. Anyone that says otherwise is either lying or has drank way too much Bungie kook-aid. I have done the mechanics to increase drops and I have done none of the mechanics to increase the drops and it made absolutely no difference in any of the activities that offer it. It is STILL random no matter what you do.

41 RisposteHonestly I think it is just a .01% considering some people have gone 80 runs without the drops. Bungie's idea of keeping players is to make them play longer. How about instead they just make the players happy instead of focusing on only their income. A loss in players is a loss in income. Simple math there Bungie.

It's time every dungeon and raid is designed like the D2 nechrocasm quest. You have a very clear number of oversoul-esque items to obtain OR you might get lucky and have a huge batch drop at once. Triumphs just like crota give the currency too.

Its definitely a boost. Every solo flawless dungeon I've gotten the exotic on the very next run..
