SBMM and the removal of freelance has ruined iron banner
All crucible with SBMM sucks. Deathballing is real, meta is everywhere, creativity and solo aggressive play is virtually non existent. All quickplay and iron banner should be CBMM.

'Solo aggressive play' (ignoring the objective, neglecting the team) and rewarding that with dopamine cues and base mechanics ruined the FPS genre the last decade.

There is just no way sbmm doesn't take over 50% of what this game should be for anyone in terms of what they should really be doing during matches. And that's just starting at 50%.

Freelance with sbmm is the best it’s ever been in my experience.

Should we 2 jump in some games and I show you what's possible with 2 weapons that aren't even in the top 100 most used weapons? It depends on you. Believe me.. The feeling etc. in PvP is bad, yes. But you can even in that state of the game manage to play the way you want if you're good enough. I am with you when it goes to sbmm. But the rest? Freelance was a curse for playerpool etc. . And I can't say you can't play aggressive or anti meta. 🤷♂️

Bungie won't remove sbmm. Because it gets bad players and casuals to buy more Silver/DLCs. Pretty much every game now has the same sbmm with a forced win ratio so bad players keep playing.

With a pop of around 40k , don't matter about type, not many people playing PvP, only the top players are playing, so that's who you will face every match Kind of like current D1 crucible, everyone with Trials ornaments and God rolled handcannons

After playing mw3, I'd gladly take bungie version of sbmm over call of duty. If you are thinking about buying mw3 don't. Sbmm is seriously eating that game alive. We tin foil hat about forced wins here, well its facts in that game. Sweat levels are astronomical, games literally so tight teams swap lead with every kill , it's the worst sbmm I've ever played and I left a session last night feeling like I never want sbmm in anything ever
