A good amount of times within both pve and pvp there’ll be instances with glaives, punches, and swords where they’ll just refuse to connect hits regardless if it’s point blank. It’s cost me lives in the Crucible, and some fistfights against minor enemies in gms (as a titan). Idk if its latency or fps related but its getting annoying

I have noticed this too, especially with non activated melee and glaive, jyst seems like buggy AI to me

3 RisposteIt’s been great watching Titans shoulder charge the air next to people and every class experiencing T-Rex arms. Has helped make Supremacy more fun.

1 RispondiTitan upset about melee! Main a T-Rex hunter then you have something to be upset about!

4 RisposteAlways been since D1, will remain till the end of D2 time, I'm afraid.

Its really fine and good for me and my friends too. Fix your router

Peer to peer Frame rate differences Cross play Spaghetti code. All make this a wonder how melee even works to begin with

It’s gotten so bad lately

I would absolutely LOVE for a dev to explain what the reason is for it happening, only for the entire community to just be like WE KNOW, FIX THE GAME lol

Was duking it out against a hunter today and both my melees didn’t register 🤣 i was livid

The issues I'm having right now that i never have I can't even really be mad at the people who do the actual work. their bosses I can't stand, them I can't be mad at. Not their fault they've been given garbage for resources to work with. I have to kind of wonder how many Bungie employees truly hate their job because of the poor conditions. And yes, expecting anyone to competently code a game with what they have been supplied with for an engine is at the least poor conditions. I feel for them when they try for another job. that employer won't be looking at it like" Oh, you had to work with that ancient coding and make it playable". No, that potential employer gonna be like" you worked on Destiny? we don't want you touching our equipment and messing something up. GTFO!!"

11 RisposteMaybe learn to shoot a gun instead?

Been an issue that comes and goes over the years. While not funny, it can be hilarious to watch a melee fight between two people in pvp and see them literally wiff at each other a few times until one finally connects. Bungie just doesn't care about those things.

Bungie doesn't know what a melee is, so they can't fix it
