We get the weekly pinnacle and power grind wheel
Then they added titke guilding hamster wheel
Then they added weekly quests hamster wheel
And now we get gaurdian ranks hamster wheel
All 4 are the same damn thing people!! Just look at it objectively...it still is using the same content, you are asked to do the same things in the same content except now you have to do it 3 or 4 different times...and all to get 4 different numbers that mean nothing.
None of these numbers do anything in game and most are not even seen...dont think many are asking for any 7x guilded dregens for gambit runs are they??
If you refuse to do them then what is in the game to do? Nothing! Nothingbhas ever been really added and these artificial time sinks should be avoided to get attention to the lack of development...no one will do a damn thing untik population drops to all time lows everyday.
Dont do them

Just it wasn't as bad as it is now when Activision was around because there was actually new content and people that didn't just copy and paste their work as this business literally does. There is too much of it and they shove it in your face and pretend they are "doing a good job" while the hardcore fans lie to them that they are. The blind leading the blind 🤦♂️

Dont do it, stop crying

1 RispondiModificato da IcyHorizons: 4/13/2023 10:09:33 AMYet you played RoN 8 hours ago 2 times which would indicate that you did it on 2 characters meaning that you contradicted your post by falling for it yourself. Yes I do realize that this post was made April 11th but if you wanted to make a point or actually do some kind of boycott thing, don't contradict your own post 🤦♂️

And I'm amazed you are still playing a game you seem to hate so much
-
So what do you suggest?
-
It’s a flex. You are unable to comprehend someone’s desire for higher numbers. Games like adventure capitalist and cookie clicker are games with big numbers that ultimately mean nothing. They are still wildly popular.

Modificato da BOSSNONO254: 4/13/2023 4:24:55 PMHonestly it’s only a wheel if you are the hamster. So essentially if you try and do the same respective content, with most of your play time going towards the game. Then eventually the gameplay becomes more of a chore and repetitive. But if you just do what you like in game, or play other games or do other activities along the way, and just take your time with the game. Then it actually becomes a lot more fun and engaging. So don’t be the hamster. Be the wheel of which Bungie is your hamster😉.
I am amazed players accept these hamster wheels
At this point they have no choice. Gamers already know the game is mediocre since Activision left. So the community, especially the content creators and streaming community just accepts it by now. The community knows it, there was an announcement when Activision left that game will never be as good as Forsaken, they can’t handle it. And now you see them admit they are not overdelivering anymore. Another way of saying making content is hard, but in a subtle way.🤣 The community, particularly the content creators and streamers who make this game their delusional job knows all of this. Because they make this game their source of no-life income, they have no choice but to bend over and get shafted without lube. They get paid afterwards just like that oldest known profession in the world, as you can see. The game is already a hamster wheel when it started. But before, when Activision was still the publisher, the game is pumped with new content every installment or DLC. Now that Activision is gone, the game is actually a clean and green game now. Clean and green, meaning game is empty and recycled!🤣 Game is so empty it looks like it’s been cleaned out by robbers! And the recycling here is impeccable it’s the greenest in the industry!🤣 So yeah, the game is now clean and green. What I call empty and recycled. 🤣 Game is a shamble mess of shallowness!

3 RisposteI'm in a state of "I paid for it, and I don't want to waste money, so I better play it" and I bet I'm not alone.
-
They even try to fool you with "filler" content. Things like "Commendations" and guardian ranks. And just bringing back older content, with a few perk changes...and calling it content. What worse than that? The people who defend this.

Zero ask

I have been saying this for a long while. We don't get content we get systems. Remebmer we didn't like all the bounties. so they took several away and made them longer weekly chores. Bungie says they will create an in game system to show us our characters abilities.. we didnt' need ranks. we have a triumph score. Some people have 140,000+ score.. thats pretty defining if you ask me. WE get lists, and chores and numbers to hide the fact we have nothing really new to actually do. Its the exact same strikes, nf, gambit arenas etc we have been playing in for years and years. The slight changes to weapons every season only marginally changes the solutions to harder content. Bungie continues to show every other developer how to abuse their communities, maximize revenue and minimize effort. Hopefully people remember this when bungies new game comes out. I for one will not be joining them again.

6 RisposteYour opinion Also maybe you are in the wrong genre of game ....

1 RispondiIt’s the addictive nature of the beast my friend. People complain about Grind effecting Mental Health in the workplace for Devs, but accept it when it comes to a game. People accept garbage. But luckily for us, Bungie I think confirmed that they are getting rid of the Pinnacle Grind in I think either next season or the season after and go straight to leveling with the Artifact. That’s gonna eliminate that hamster wheel.

15 RisposteModificato da Kouz_MC: 4/12/2023 6:22:47 AMDestiny is based on ego boosting and envy. No one “needs” any particular weapon or roll, everyone “envies” a specific roll. #1 proof is auto vaulting every single new toy. Ex: people cry bc they don’t loot a raid exotic; once looted their life has no meaning until they get the catalyst; once obtained they go Shuro Chi; then vault it. When it’s the most recent toy, they go to tower stand in the middle hoping someone will inspect them and send them a friend, game or clan invite they will happily not accept, they go into matchmaking activities they usually never go into hoping that someone will envy them, send them another invite they will not accept. Miserable misery are this game’s pillars, foundations, and core. You can apply this to light level, shaders, emblems, titles, guardian ranks, it’s all slowly but surely “content” that was taken away from “actual content” bc it’s easier to capitalize on envy that create content. It’s america and the western world in a nutshell, a very kaleidoscope of miserable arrogance nurtured by brainwashing while actually being the rear wagon of the world, evolution, and humanity. It’s a prison we throw ourselves in. Add drug addictions, woke rights… and you get an unlimited and self fulfilling cycle of BS. What will be the next “quest” for “getting attention,” pretty much.

1 RispondiEndgame activity, rewards, and build crafting of this game is dogsh!t. But eh, there’s no competitor sadly.
-
Shhhh people will yell at you and tell you it's end game content (it's not but for some reason people think it is)
-
3 RisposteDude, life is a hamster wheel.
-
3 RisposteThat’s what this game is. It’s a looter shooter with grind elements like an mmo. It’s like ur at an Italian restaurant and ur like “they have so much pasta. It’s just pasta” …. Obviously!
-
I play cuz it's fun Cope
-
1st word used was we. There is no me in a you problem
-
1 RispondiOne word for them........Sheeple, the same people that stare at mobile phones constantly (when not fanboying destiny)
-
23 RisposteIt's not that deep. People enjoy playing the game, & titles & ranks & -blam!- give them a reward for playing it.
-
1 RispondiGuardian ranks make no sense to me. I got to rank 7 for the extra loadouts after that I haven’t even looked at them. I’m honestly surprised on how many people actually care and try and get something that will reset each season and gives no real reward or loot.
-
44 RispostePeople lead empty lives apparently where something like guardian ranks can fill their pathetic little void. I don't care for it because it gives nothing and doesn't even remotely matter
