Petition to get a statue of lance Reddick in the tower
Just heard the news and I'm devastated, as I'm sure everyone else is. He deserves a permanent in-game tribute

He does have his tribute in-game. It's Zavala himself. But a true memorial could be bringing back the very first weapon used by Zavala himself as a craftable item. A kinetic glaive called the Lance of Reddick. With a note in the description of the weapon as a final goodbye to him.

How about writing Zavala out but having a statue of him in the Tower? And perhaps an emblem as a memorial to Lance.

3 RisposteMay as well put a statue of Obama in the middle of the tower too. Putting a real person’s statue into the tower just because they were close to the game doesn’t make sense. Lance’s legacy to the game is already the character Zavala which I suspect bungie will write off the game somehow to avoid recasting the voice. If anything, bungie should erect a statue of Lance outside their HQ. That would actually make some sort of sense.

Could even do a quadruple Vanguard xp event for a weekend in honor of Lance. An in-game realistic Tower statue though? Hard no. That'll set an awkward precedent imo even though it's outta respect. Like say they do that, then what about all the other voice actors that left the game or died? Lol think the character of Zavala would have to walk through Cayde's footsteps to get his monument in the tower...Bc that monument exists, I think a Zavala statue in the game would look kind of odd...I mean we know it's for Lance, I'm just saying the former ideas I pitched would be better. Maybe even a special Gjallarhorn ornament? Or a totally unique weapon as tribute to him? Sky is the limit really. I just think seeing the actor in the tower in Destiny 2 would be odd for me.

That would make absolutely 0 sense, only way they'd do this is to kill off Zavala and have a Zavala statue. As for now, we already have Lance in the tower

Such an icon in our game. The way he shared his time with us on social media and showed us he was a Destiny fan as well. He will be missed. A statue or a plaque in the tower, similar to the old Cayde plaque, right next to Zavala, would be perfect.
