Looks amazing to me. Semi-open world, great graphics, great story (from what I’ve seen), great music (obviously, it’s Halo), unique gameplay, etc. It might even rival 3’s campaign (in my opinion)

Yes. Let down by multiplayer

ima complete it, but i don’t really want to. i still say halo ended at 3.

Cautiously Optimistic. The core multiplier gameplay is good but they really screwed up with the lack of certain modes. Halo 5 will have more content at launch then halo infinite...

6 RisposteI'm certainly interested in the campaign, but I wouldn't say excited. There's something about the multiplayer that just doesn't feel good to me, and I'm not talking about the whole customization/battle pass mess, so I'm weary about how the single-player will feel.

I'm trying to keep my expectations low. The campaigns of 4 and 5 weren't exactly great.

1 RispondiWith the exception of CE, Halo games never felt solid to me, like your enemies just fell down after shooting them instead of dying. It might be the lack of gore, it just needs something flying out of the head, like a gas. Or it might be because the rate of fire feels sluggish. Imma absolutely grind that campaign nonetheless

3 RisposteI don't know if I could say im evicted a the more open worldly it seems the more my anticipation died. Day one on gamepass so I'm pulling an all nighter regardless

Campaign is the only reason I'm getting the game. I've done the Training Ops and such, and have seen more than enough of the multiplayer to know that I'm just not interested in playing that anymore. I had my run in that type of arena for a number of years, and it just isn't important to me. The story and the campaigns are always more fun because you can do them however you want. I don't know if that's still going to be the case with this open world format, but I guess we'll find out.

Nope, I’m not expecting much after H4 and especially H5, I’m also not interested in their design choice of having it be semi-open world because most of the time that stuff ends up being repetitive fluff to extend the games playtime. I would’ve preferred them not adding that in to be honest.

Optimistic and curious.
-
Where's the "cautiously optimistic" option?
-
Personally, I kinda hate the graphics. It looks almost cartoony and it really doesn't feel like I'm playing halo.
-
I’m somewhat optimistic because of Staten’s involvement, but I’m definitely not excited. Halo 5, and 4 to a certain extent, really put me off the narrative 343’s been telling. So even if Infinite’s campaign is great, it’s still a sequel to those two less-than-stellar games.
