I feel like, if you take this idea too far, at some point the director will be too convoluted and the playerbase will be spread too thin. But I do think that at the bare minimum there should be the same amount of playlists as there are now with variations in matchmaking algorithms depending on playlist.

Oh well, I'm out of steam for trying to suggest anything that might work for the general player base. Guess I'm getting a tad apathetic and that is the real enemy for D2....at least by showing up on forums and having a say suggests we care enough....but if what you're saying is "too hard and ineffective" then I say FARK IT! I'm going somewhere else! I paid $$$ to enjoy a game you see...no offence mate. Just my feelings as a consumer.
