So I made myself look like a fool and i’m owning up to it. I just want to say i’m sorry bungie and to Dmg also. I made a post yesterday talking shit about their anti cheat system and also talked more shit about the Baken ban. That post i made got ninja’d (it didn’t age well) and i just want to say y’all proved me wrong and I apologize for that behavior. I was just in disbelief that Baken was cheating since I was a fan of him. Sorry once more to dmg and security team.

2 RisposteI'd wager the majority of the pc "sweat" community are closet cheaters.
-
ah yes the obligatory i'm sorry but not sorry cliche just like fake youtuber apology videos to say weeks later they will make another scripted apology just like when news networks do it CNN and FOX anyone.
-
6 RisposteWait, there is an anticheat there? Why then there are so many cheaters?!?
-
2 RisposteIt says a lot about a person's character when they can admit when they were wrong. Respect.

Idk what happened with your little situation but why apologize. At the end of the day having policy (on the forum) that protects people who cheat is a stance bungie firmly holds onto. I get the argument both ways and witch hunts aren’t good. However the way bungie has chosen to go about handling cheating leaves them open to criticism. Even the grey area like recovs shows where they stand. Website partially funded through bungie promote recov services. I’m not looking to get into that because all the people who cant do dungeons themselves will try to defend recovs. My point is if bungie silences the majority of good faith conversations regarding cheating. While cheating is so prevalent at times trials is canceled for entire weekends. You shouldn’t feel bad for trying to bring up the subject. Additionally I petition we rename bungies ninjas. Historically speaking ninjas contributed to conveying information not silencing opinions. That is all.

Thanks for coming clean. It takes a lot to be honest, especially nowadays.

18 RisposteModificato da Seraphim Crypto: 7/2/2021 6:56:32 AMSorry this ended up being kinda adjacent to the topic, not on it. Real talk, pretty much everyone who plays at a top level cheats somehow. Other than Destiny… Games like Call of Duty: Warzone, it’s the worlds worst kept secret that streamers use [REDACTED] and use abusive aim set ups (a la [REDACTED]). Even watching Destiny streams, some people have unnatural aim which is absolutely enhanced by outside software like [REDACTED]. Not to mention BLATANT cheating (a la infinite super, not taking damage, etc) Everyone cheats. Not saying that like it should be accepted or it’s okay, but EVERYONE cheats. I’ve come to realize that it’s something everyone knows is happening but we turn a blind eye for whatever reason. [quote]Ninja Edit: Please don't mention the names of soft- or hardware that can be used cheating or modifying the game experience or to enhance your gameplay. This gives them free advertisement and also violates the rules about discussing cheats and hacks.[/quote]

4 RisposteMan listen to me. NEVER and I mean never "look up" to a streamer, yter, singer, rapper or any entertainer. You don't know these ppl, hell it's hard enough to find ppl in your actual life that you can trust fully. Always look at the situation with healthy skepticism and if you can't glean the facts for yourself then reserve your judgment untill you get the facts. Apply this to everything.. politics, social issues, friendships, co workers etc. etc. and anytime you feel emotionally invested in 1 side then that is when you need to double down on these principals. This advise will aid you greatly throughout your life, I promise.

11 RisposteGood for you for owning up. This puts me in the mood for a grilled Bacon sandwich.
-
2 RisposteNever apologise
-
I'm sorry, not sorry the end
-
18 RisposteNow we need to ban more YouTubers! Rickkackis and Aztec look like they got some fishy stuff going on.
-
Good for you to apologize here. These forums have some people who wanna seem strong and stuff and it’s pretty rare to see a genuine person who would dare apologize. I thought he was real too, but seems like the last year or two he’s been cheating. I doubt he’d be able to cheat through battle-net plus once trials dropped he could probably get paid for carries or recovs. Really shameful since he was a pretty good player outside the cheating. Sad to see him go

9 RisposteDont Apolagize. They inadvertently admitted they know streamers cheat, which if you notice is why they do competitive on different accounts. Bungie silently bans them and doesnt tell people about it, because they want to give content creators an easy out. They desperately need content creators to boost game interest, but this time one of them was too stupid to understand how that game worked. You move on, you switch to your 5th side account you bought from someone who grinds them out on the side, and you keep going like nothign happened.

Cheating is an issue with all online games, not just Destiny and people were fooling themselves thinking it was prevalent only here and every other company was doing a bang up job stopping it. This place is a real echo chamber sometimes. Go to any other games primary forums. It’s like staring at a Loki Variant.

1 RispondiHard to believe there's an anticheat in Destiny. Baken did cheat given his reaction but he was probably found out due to reports.
-
Anti cheat?
-
That it's too late to apologize, it's too late I said it's too late to apologize, it's too late Too late, oh I'd take another chance, take a fall Take a shot for you And I need you like a heart needs a beat But it's nothing new, yeah yeah I loved you with a fire red, now it's turning blue And you say sorry like the angel Heaven let me think it was you But I'm afraid It's too late to apologize, it's too late

5 RisposteI have no idea who this streamer is or why anyone would watch someone stream Destiny 2 of all things. Or worse, give them money. Unbelievable.
-
Respect. Not everyone can admit their mistakes. Good on you guardian
-
Doesn’t matter. The game is way past its expiration date. But good for you admitting you were wrong good character trait
-
I respect you for owning up to it
-
Yeah kind of hard to trust personalities now in these days. At least you owned up to your mistakes.
-
Damn,we don't see this everyday over here Keep being a decent person
-
And this is what personal growth looks like. Good on you and keep that mind open. 👍
-
1. Major respect for admitting you were wrong & apologizing. 2. Baken was cheating?
