Firing Range Podcast Recap if You Missed it

This stream was with Coolguy, FalloutPlays, Cammycakes, Drewsky, and Mercules. These five got to discuss with two Bungie Sandbox Devs on their plans and opinions on the sandbox. I’m going to summarize some of the stuff they talked about, if you missed it. -Bungie is looking into shifting away towards more gunplay and less ability spam -Bungie is looking into more building crafting and attention to detail in builds -Ideas of abilities/grenades having different cool downs in trade for lethality -Top-Tree Dawnblade was acknowledged as being “Too spicy” but was intended for high skill players -Thoughts of making movement cost a bit more and more penalizing on people being out of position in PvP (or even PvP) -Vex Methoclayst in the sandbox dev’s opinion is a best underwhelming than they meant it to be -lots go talk on aim assist cones, Accuracy cones and how zoom affects the given cone’s range -Talk on how fusion rifles balance more on spread than damage drop off while shotguns focus on the inverse -Looking into changes on rapid fire fusions -Bungie has learned a lot from how stasis affected the crucible and how to balance maybe new subclasses -They have acknowledge the lack of crucible maps [quote]YES THEY PLAY TEST THERE GAME, WHEN THEY MESS SOMETHING UP AND IT RELEASES, THEY FEEL BAD THE MOST [/quote] -The devs try to keep community opinion in mind over their own personal opinion on the meta -Chaos Reach still feels like it needs tuning -The Bungie Devs said they feel like most PvE feedback is positive right in terms of balance -Looking into the removing/changing of InstaSwapping -PvE buffs coming to handcannons, scouts and machine guns. -Shotguns need tuning further.   • Bungie for the love of god, instead of acknowledging top tree dawnblade is highly used and therefore requires a nerf, MAYBE LOOK AT WHY IT’S HIGHLY USED, BECAUSE NO OTHER SUBCLASS IS VIABLE FOR LOCKS ANYMORE. Nevermind the fact it’s usage is far higher on PC where aerial movement is much easier, Console dawn blades are NOT common, and we have a much higher population...
