Are New Exotics Solo drop only?
Do you have to solo complete to get the new exotics? Or can you do it as a fire team and just have a lower drop rate?

43 RisposteSolo only. Bungie pushes us into group play very aggressively, but when it comes to getting new armor, they make us play solo. Whoever came up with this garbage should be fired.

They are locked to solo for initial drop but it's guaranteed if you don't have it. Might take some runs but the right load out makes these lost sectors pretty easy.

Yes, this is a solo game. Just go to the forums, reddit, and Facebook so you can brag about your accomplishments. Make sure you transmog some armor so you can post what your guardian looks like otherwise no one will ever know the difference. Enjoy.

Solo only, not a big deal as even under leveled you can run most in under 5 mins. You should be able to get them in a fireteam even if they halved the drop rate as a duo and cut it by three in a trio

You have to complete it solo, but i heard its only when you open the chest is when it checks, try completing it with friends and booting them before opening the chest.

2 RisposteYes, they've been making seasonal armor exotics only obtainable through solo legendary/master lost sectors for awhile now. They get added into the regular loot pool to earn once that season is over though.

3 RisposteA word of advice for the solo lost sectors. Witherhoard is your friend. ESPECIALLY with the unstoppable grenade launcher mod, and the class item mod from the artifact that causes an explosion when you stun a champion.

Personally, I am tired of people pretending they're better at this game than solo players because they carry each other through soloable content and get rewarded more for less ability. The solo lost sectors and solo triumphs for seals is the best thing to come out of Beyond Light. At least you know people earned the Splintered seal. Don't worry about the exotics. If for some reason you are incapable of playing solo content they always hit the general loot pool sooner or later. It's a hell of a lot better than locking new exotics behind cheesy raids with overdone mechanics.

It was bugged recently but is solo only. Thankfully!! It’s great having a solo activity and you can grind it out. Got the new exotic on all 3 characters in one session of grinding it out. Linking it to a season activity would not be good. Where does it drop when season is over?

Sadly it is solo. Crazy to ask for solo stuff in a multiplayer game. Do the Europe or Cosmodrome Sectors. With the right Loadout they are easily doable in 5-10 minutes depends you skills and routine.

As has been said - solo only. You should be plenty high to tackle the legend lost sectors. It's a bit daunting going in, and often requires some trial and error on load outs, but they generally aren't too bad to run and you do start to get a rythym going.

Solo like the last 2 seasons How else can they get people playing lost sectors for extended periods of time

3 RisposteYeah its silly, ill just wait until bungie updates xur so I can get it from him instead. I don’t mind solo content but I despise when difficulty is up for no reason especially when the drop rate is terrible.

Have to solo it but there’s no point bungie have sat there doing nothing for the whole time they were “doing maintenance” because the exotic boots are sopost to drop for today’s reseat but instead it drops exotic helmets even though it specifically says it drops the boots today
