And you know what it is, specifically?
It’s going flawless once in 6 years and being matched with a team that’s gone 16x flawless this season alone in our first match. And this happens over and over and over. And you can never get past the first win.
I refuse to believe that this is fair matchmaking and that it’s not possible to fix. The only thing I can come up with is that you guys are mentally disabled and too stupid to see the obvious.
Bad enough that stasis is a steaming pile of dog shit and has destroyed crucible. Bad enough that 120s are beating scouts and snipers at scout and sniper range. Bad enough that there’s zero variety in weapons used.
But on top of that, your matchmaking is so piss poor that, with a player Pool in the MILLIONS, you can’t match players correctly and provide reasonable challenges.
Trials has to disappear. Forever. Along with Stasis.

6 RisposteSixteen times in one season isn’t even unreasonable. It’s card based, it happens. Do you think those teams reset a card and it puts them at three wins by default? When people are trying to win, why wouldn’t they use the best options available to them? I’m not going to go into trials with a blue scout rifle. The player pool isn’t even close to one million. PlayStation this weekend has seen 42,000 players participate. Bungie has stated that they will be potentially putting a soft SBMM system in place.

1 RispondiThey don't care about Trials or making PVP a good game mode in general. FFS 3 peaking still hasn't been fixed for how many seasons? This week I have played so many games where the other team will not engage and sit behind something with their sword out and let the round go to cap every round. How can someone enjoy doing that for the whole card?? like wtf?. And for the team to actually think they are good a PVP lol

9 RisposteMad cuz bad at PvP.

11 RisposteI feel like I'm only around average maybe slightly above average and I typically get all the weekly loot and every other weekend a flawless run since I decided to give trials another shot this season. It just takes a lot of practice and yes a pinch of luck with matchmaking. Are there some issues with it? Yes. Have bungie literally already told us next season 3 peaking will be impossible and the season after trials is getting completely reworked? Also yes. The "R3mOvE tRiAls" mentality is cringe.

Modificato da Wes: 5/10/2021 2:33:36 PM...have you realized that Trials is an OPEN tournament so that can happen? On top of that, it is more likely to happen with low player population. And no. It isn't millions. Playstation has 1,400 hourly teams. So perhaps we should be looking at the root cause of the low player population leading to these frustrations.

that's kinda offensive ngl

5 RisposteModificato da WalriderAlp: 5/9/2021 5:58:13 PMTrials might be removed, there's already lore cards which have created the possibility of it. Stasis however, is here to stay. That's the long and the short of it. Don't get started with the "stasis never should have existed", because players have been asking for an ice-based subclass since D1. If you don't like Stasis, there's 2 options you can take to manage it:
1: Relax. Stop stressing about it. We're playing a game after all, stop taking it so seriously. 2: Use Stasis yourself. Level the playing field that way. If you can't/won't do either of the above, no one can help you. The crucible is a toxic hellpit. If you don't want to be toxic, your best bet is to stay out of the crucible.
There is an easy fix to competing in trials...just use a jotunn and watch the teabagging lol That alone is enough to make trials worthwhile lol

Then split it between 24 hours and that is roughly how many players are in your pool when you are queueing. It’s one of the least popular activities in the game. It should be removed and fixed.

You know whats really stupid We have been trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty

I suck at PvP and I can regularly get to 4 wins witth randoms in find fireteam. There is something really bad with your PvP play if you cant ever get to 3 wins. Do you watch youtube vids on how to get better in pvp? do you watch loadout vids? do you watch how to get better at trials vids? I will never be great and it took weeks and weeks and tons of games to get my first three win streak but after that its pretty easy depending on the weekend.

I think it's clear by now that Bungie do not want to fix it. They're fine with it being broken. So long as people keep playing. Or should I say so long as people keep paying streamers to play for them.
-
7 RisposteWoah woah woah buttercup. Relax. Trials is the pinnacle of PvP. If you have never been flawless then I guess you don't have the right stuff just yet. Practice in comp. Use the meta. Make friends and develop an understanding as a fireteam. And if you still don't go flawless. Then that's OK too. It's the journey that counts. Right?

Ik we should just remove it from the game
