What is the point when we are told to bank medals to win?
Or is mine broke in that when I bank the stats in the case should stay there. Mine does not btw only the Laurel count stays.
Dumb idea cause if one class is going for the case completion then no one is banking them.

2 RisposteModificato da Noiztm: 4/25/2021 6:39:10 PMIt is also their lazy, unexplained method of you getting to "pledge" to one class. That medal case is shared across all 3 toons. So you can run objectives on your Titan and claim them on your Hunter. This is actually pretty nice for us the play all three. Last year we banked on all 3 classes giving additional progress to the 2 classes you may not main. Again cool idea poorly executed. 6 would have made better sense. Finish weeklies on Titan and Lock, earn 6 bronze. Jump to Hunter and claim those 6 and continue playing. Instead we get to chop it up even more and jump characters in between activities an additional time. Another disrespect to players time.

Modificato da firerwolf: 4/26/2021 2:24:10 PMIt’s to limit your ability to hoard medals. Say you’re a warlock on a day warlocks are in second. Without the limits placed by the case you could hold platinum after platinum and wait until a final week day where you’re in third, bank all of them for a massive bonus.

5 RisposteModificato da Corrick II: 4/25/2021 1:27:23 PMI had the same question. The medal case is very simple when you finally understand it, but in typical Bungie fashion they introduce a new mechanic, make it look like something it’s not, and then never explain it to you in any way that makes sense. All it does is show you how many medals and laurels you’ve collected at any given moment. That’s it. You can deposit medals at any time, there is no reason to fill it all the way up.
-
It’s more about limiting the amount of medals you can carry at one time. Waste time traveling back n forth.

2 RisposteThe medal case is there to hold your medals, so that they don't take up inventory space. It's actually nice.

Ya, they did done fkd it up again. Bungie gets an F on their explanation of anything. They rely on their brown nosed Youtubers to do all the marketing for them. This case is just a lame counter

1 RispondiHi there! The medal case just shows what medals you have on you right now. Depositing them will of course remove them from your character. The medal case shows the limit of every medal you can hold at a time. Having 5/5 bronze medals f.e. doesn't let you earn any additional until you deposit the 5 in your case at the tower.

It’s to prevent AFK farming
-
It’s just to hold your medals instead of having them take up your quest inventory
-
Not sure but once it’s full and you turn it in you get more stuff? Yeah...

2 Rispostegoing what for a vehicle? If you're talking about the sparrow from the triumph then you don't need to hold them. Hell you can't hold them past 5 of bronze and silver and 3 of gold and plat. Also the laurels are used to buy the challenge cards from Eva not to bank ...
