Considering the entire subclass is ONLY good because of the super.. I'd say they came pretty close to fúcking another subclass up completely. Any more nerfs and we'll see another NW/SB.

Its the principal. Why is all of the sudden chaos reach a problem, when its been the same for multiple seasons now. Why nerf it now? Why nerf it at all? There was no reason to nerf it other than the fact that bungie felt like it.

Chaos reach is a problem now because people finally realized how good it was. Just because something doesnt get used doesnt mean it's bad. Chaos reach has always been really good, but the meta gremlins never cared, because they were too busy fawning over nova warp or dawn blade.

Players are using it over stasis as stasis is too slow in pvp all nerfing CR is going to do is push warlocks back to top tree dawn..... Stasis needs to be a faster class to use and not the current 2 step to kill nonsense

They’re nerfing it because usage rate. First to super, retains super energy when popped and cancelled. We haven’t even seen how bad it will be, until then I’ll wait until I complain.

I mean you could pop your super 5 times in a single match of Control. It was little rediculous.

Quite a few in control or IB go after the ones traveling in groups or capping a zone. CR is my favorite subclass tree for pvp to be honest just wish the melee was better or at least traveled faster

And its been that way since the super came out. Why are people only complaining about it now? Behemoth can kill a full team and then run across the map and kill them again. Chaos reach guarantees you maybe 1 to 2 kills per pop? But roaming supers can kill a full team and then do it again in one go. But chaos reach is a problem all of the sudden. Sure.

Just because it's been untouched doesn't mean it's not a problem. Also if you read the TWAB you might've noticed they increased the energy cost of Behemoth super attacks. Which reduces the duration... your example is already invalid.

Im just curious on why people are only complaining now. The community has been fine with it for over two years but decide to complain now. It makes no sense.

Because it wasn’t nearly as popular back then and we also didn’t have trials. Lets be real, 3v3 gamemodes are the real reason its getting nerfed. One kill means everything in trials, and being able to get 3 supers is insane.

I don’t give a shit about PVP- leave my PVE build alone! No one in this thread is acknowledging that it affects PVE just as much. Saving your super is a key perk for chaos reach that shouldn’t have been touched.

When using chaos in pve you will almost always use the whole super so the canceling won’t really matter.

Oh I didn’t realize you were secretly me. I cancel the super all the time- boss immune? boss teleported? killed early? So many examples

If the boss goes immune I guess it makes sense but if you use it at the start of the damage phase it’ll use the whole thing, if the boss teleports you can just turn to it, and if the boss is dead you’re already done with the activity so it doesn’t even matter.

That nova bomb one is wrong, but only with Skull of Dire Ahamkara
