Don't Sunset Supers
Luke, no one wants to live in your "Luke Fantasyland". Sorry, not sorry. If you sunset ANY supers, Destiny 2 will die. End of story.

I mean, of course, there are some subclasses I’d like to keep but I don’t mind it as much as sunsetting some of the weapons I have that took ages to acquire. Game is developing and so far they’re doing alright. I know there are a million things you can complain about but we’re all playing it and we’re all having enough fun to keep playing and investing time so it can’t be all that bad.

Just combine all 3 trees but you can only pick one of each of the tiers. So you can customise just like d1

Am I the only one thinking they want to sunset those to resell them as "new" darkness subclasses.

when i first heard this i was thinking of them having say for example, have dawnblade be the main solar warlock super but then make a fragment that allows you to turn that super into well of radiance. this is the only way i can see them allowing us to keep all of our supers whilst also allowing us to fully customize our subclasses. But i agree dont remove subclasses so that the classes themselves have an identity, because some people would have made and identity with a certain subclass.

if they take away some of them i just hope they merge some of them like titans have, hold F to do well of radiance and press F to top tree dawnblade. But if they dont welp.

Everybody getting worked up over something MIGHT happen years down the road. What I think this interview was meant to do is get everybody's panties in a bunch over something other than current problems with the game. Well, mission successful.

Why does it matter? U people are still gonna play the game regardless. Proven point that people are still playing the game even after they told bungie before beyond light came out that if they sunset and vault the content that people will leave. U guys are still here playing the game. Need I say more?

Whats the real reason for sunsetting can't they just keep adding content an let us consume it at our own pace.its like a seasonal treadmill at the moment new supers/armor/weapons/power grind with each season.

So i wouldnt really be too devestated if they had a big Light class tree that could miss all elements together. Imagaine Celestial Fire, Icaurs Dash and Blink with Dawnblade; Magical times it would be. But from what ive read it seems that the top boss man is indeed thinking about cutting a super from each class or am i wrong? It feels like they couldve just done either a big Light side element tree that you can mix abilities and customise the elemental class tree or just have one big Light side tree with all Elemental abilities and supers able to mix and combine together. I just hope Destiny doesnt take a turn for the worse to be honest.

Bungie, your community is up-in-arms about sunsetting in the first place, and your response is to sunset supers? Ya'll've demonstrated some incredible acts of stupidity and just generally being out of touch with the community in the past before, but this? THIS one tops the board... by far.

here I am thinking, why can't they just update them without removing them? make the changes without removing any supers, then patch in the changes when ready. this doesn't make any sense.

also, don't sunset our exotics! if either one of these are sunset, I guarantee I'm out for good bungie. I took almost a year off because of shadowkeep, I can do it again permanently.
