Part 4: Unexpected Guest [i]The guardian is in the cosmodrome and enters the code on Frequency 19. [/i] Guardian: Knightlight. Superskybro sent us. We need you to help us with the override frequency. [i]No response. A couple shots are heard over the radio. [/i] Guardian: Knightlight! We hear shots fired on your end. Are you in need of assistance! [i]Knightlight picks up the radio [/i] Knightlight: I heard you the first time. The weapon part isn't important. You'll find me in a cave on a island near the forgotten shore, just ignore the "turn back" advisory and follow the ping I gave your ghost. Oh and be sure you bought some chi— Ghost: connection cut out but we have the location. Let's go. [i]The ping is followed and The Guardian enters the cave. They stumble upon a couple of warmind cells, dead frames, resonate stems, and what appears to be a can of siva with a warning label on it. [/i] Ghost: Hmm that's odd, I'm detecting a large energy signature that's approaching fast! It's familiar but I can't recall. Guardian: Wait it's behind us now! [i]The Guardian grabs a shotgun but is punched in the head before firing it. The Guardian loses consciousness. [/i] [i]2 hours pass and the guardian wakes up to see Knightlight cooking smores over a bonfire.[/i] Guardian: Are you the hunter exo called Knightlight-3? Knightlight- I'm not a exo. I made that part up to hide my identity, one of the perks of wearing your helmet most of the time is no one knows your face. But yes I'm the one you're looking for. Guardian: What hit me? Where's my ghost? Knightlight: I could tell you. If you don't tell a certain bald headed blue guy. Guardian: Ok. I won't tell the vanguard. Knightlight: [i]looks deeper into the cave. [/i] You can come out now, it's safe. [i]The creature that knocked out the guardian  emerges. It's Eramis.[/i] Guardian: You're supposed to be dead! Knightlight: But she isn't. Kridis was correct when she said Eramis was "asleep". I knew Eramis before she went to Europa for the first time. I talked to her about stasis when she fled to the cosmodrome, but that turned into an argument. When I heard about her being frozen I talked with Kridis, she told me Eramis was still alive, but then she attacked me. As soon as you killed Kirdis, I took Eramis back to my cave where I defrosted her. Guardian: Is she still crazy about stasis? Knightlight: Nope. I freed her from it. I secretly went up to the pyramid on Europa and it let me inside. They told me that in order to remove stasis from Eramis that they wanted an offering. So I gave them a pre golden age video game, called "Halo Reach". It was cayde's favorite game. Anyways they accepted it and granted me my wish. Eramis: Its been a while guardian. I only knocked you out so I could get back at you. Oh and here's your ghost. We had to wipe its memory for 3 hours, unfortunately they're rather talkative and would tell zavala everything, so we had no choice. No hard feelings. [i]Eramis takes the ghost out of a plastic bag.[/i] Ghost: Hello Guardian. Where are we? Last I remember we got the Override Shell from Superskybro. Knightlight: Ah yes. I have what you need for the override frequency. Awaking Rasputin are we? You need to get the correct override frequency pattern to do that, you just know it as "music". I did alot of work on Hellas Basin so I know my way around warmind stuff. [i]Knightlight takes the override shell and combines it with the frequency to make a working sleeper node.[/i] Knightlight: This should do it. Also give Ana Bray this gift for the dawning. I modified it to fire fully automatically at a high rpm. Tricky part was getting everything to still work. It misfired a couple times and destroyed my radio. [i]Knightlight hands the Guardian a Braytech Frame Scout Rifle. Similar design to the Polaris Lance. [/i] Guardian: Thank you Knightlight.
