I just lost an exotic engram as well as 3 ascendant shards because i was grinding escalation protocol. And guess how i lost it to, -blam!-ing rare (blue) armor/weapons. How does it make sense to replace my exotic with -blam!-ing blues when Im already at hard cap. Fix the damn Postmaster by giving us option to not accept blues or increase more space. Btw, i didn't get no warning my Postmaster was full. Otherwise, I won't be posting this shit. Yes I am upset, I'm upset because something like this is stupid and shouldn't be happening.

It's not a vault. I keep things in the postmaster as well, but I have a limit to how long I'll do an activity before I need to empty it to not lose whatever I keep in there. If you got important things in there, you need to take them out or manage it better.
-
If only people realized what postmaster actually meant.
its not a vault for your stuff
Lol
-
3 RisposteWell that sucks but you probably should have seen this coming. I do think you should be able to auto dismantle blues in the post to make way for better drops though.
-
3 RisposteNah you just have poor inventory management skills and trying to blame Bungie for what is clearly a user error. Before going into every activity always make sure you know how many spaces you have in your inventory and how many engrams you pick up. If you go past 20 it will auto delete, the system won't hold your hand and stop you picking up engrams when both postmaster and inventory are full. You knew full well that twenty engrams is the limit and what happens afterwards but you kept on grinding regardless and lost an exotic maybe this time you'll learn not to be so careless and actually start paying the attention required to farm like a pro and hoard exotics.
-
7 RisposteI mean you needed to have the exotic drop and go to your postmaster and then have another 18 items drop after that. If you saw it was in the postmaster why not pick it up?
-
3 RisposteWhy would you have shards just sitting in the postmaster...? That’s on you.
-
Your fault, not the inventory system's fault.
-
Or just go to your postmaster more than once a year? It's your fault lmao
-
Lol, don't use the post master as storage. They tell you when it's full. Have empty room in your inventory so you can easily delete and don't need to go to the postmaster. If you want the engram so bad, why wait until it got deleted?
-
Sounds like you need to do a better job of policing your inventory.
-
Manage your inventory then. Would love to see you play any other mmo
-
Yeah that sucks man, I just try and check my postmaster thru the app when grinding activities. If it's close to full I take the blues and scrap them
-
Feel you, that is hard work but this is a learning experience always check & clean up your postmaster when heading out to an activity. Also try to pick up those drops to dismantle immediately.
-
Those items had to get cycled through 21 items before they got replaced by those blues. The fault is all yours.
-
1 RispondiThis is your fault and your fault alone

Modificato da wrightflyer_1903: 7/9/2020 3:28:04 PMI'm guessing they'll never fix/change anything but if you could simply re-order the postmaster items so the more "valulable" things could be moved to the end of the list (and therefore the last to be lost) it might help.
-
An idea I have is that you can lock items in it and when your postmaster is full the locked items are sent to your vault.

1 RispondiModificato da An Error: 7/8/2020 10:56:05 AMDismantle blues on your character and make sure you always have shader slots open Then open up dim on your phone or on another tab and hit ‘claim from post master’ Most players already do the first block of text. Add in the last step and your post master will always have a handful of slots. It’s really that simple. And if you scoff and say you shouldn’t have to do that, you’re right. But Bungie isn’t going to do anything about this so your only solution is stated above.
