The whole point of Shadowshot in PvP is to counter enemy supers and shotgun trash, but by the time the enemies are tethered, I have already died. This is also true if I get a direct impact on an enemy as they are casting their roaming super. Even setting it as a trap doesn't tether quick enough to save me.
The super should tether immediately after striking a surface or have some type of proximity detonation.
If you disagree, don't forget to comment 'git gud' and downvote.

You know what the truth is? These people that are spitting on your ideas are just salty -blam!-s that get rekt in mayhem by shadowshot lol There is no reason a grenade should be more effective at suppressing than a super that takes 3 minutes to charge, make it instant.

3 RisposteThe neutral game of the class more than makes up for how the tether works.

4 Rispostesitabeast you make some valid points and I agree that ever verse should be removed from this game. But Whether we wanted it or not, we’ve stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let’s get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta’aurc. From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

It honestly just needs a whole rework. The animation is so slow, the tether flies to the right of where you aim, makes you miss, I could go on.
-
It needs to travel faster activate faster and tether faster..
-
The only hard counter to super spam and its useless. Tried running it with a friend yesterday and they still kill you/teammates a goid while after being shot with it. Im guessing its all about skill and laying the trap a few matches before you verse the super, that way the game has time to recognise youve casted it and its infact impacted and then you can cover it in leaves or rubble and train your tether where the enemy will be so when the match finally comes, your tether may react in time and with bare minimum accuracy enough to stop the titan or warlocks infinite supers and you can get the kill before they destroy you.
-
1 Rispondiinstant is a bit of a stretch. That would be overkill IMO. Now shortening the animation and giving a slight overshield would be nice. Oh and while I'm at it, the tether should never stick to a wall that's just a little too close on your right. That's not how arrows work. I've never shot an arrow in my life that has lodged itself in a perpendicular wall upon release or a ceiling for that matter when aiming down.
-
No I don't disagree infact I agree top tree could do with a bit of a buff or like mentioned to someone else on here maybe switch lockdown around or maybe not but yeah it can get you cought out if you're not careful and the git gud comment was just a bit of fun people get royald up why to easy on hear.
-
2 RisposteWell then get gud with your aim and use moebius quiver personaly i think its much better sorry bout the get gud.
-
Should only tether immediatly on direct hits
-
3 RisposteHell no. It's fine as is. Just enough time for those paying attention to avoid it. Not just an EZ win button.
-
Yea it takes forever to get the shot off then you have to wait for it to proc Btw F Titans. Trash class no skill
-
I dont mind as long as both sunbreaker trees recieves tracking it had in D1 and both Stormstrance trees recieves the damage it had in D1 then we can agree to not disagree
-
40 Rispostehunter are already grossly OP in PvP, so no
-
2 RisposteAim better and time it better (if you want to use it to counter other supers.)
-
I say have the arrow even tether as it’s flying through the air
-
Better watch yourself; tons of anti-Hunter rights activists are on your tail.
-
Animations for every ability should be faster (nearly immediate), tether, barricade walls, wells, etc.
-
Modificato da DHawk12: 6/25/2020 4:26:52 AMI agree but only for top tree tether (both direct and non direct shots). Bottom tree should require a direct hit for instant suppression.
-
1 RispondiMy team just got shitted on by a clan full of hunters so idk
-
Top tree super is incredibly easy to get out, also not in any kind of way intimidating. Bottom tree is just as easy if not easier but you have more than one chance to surprise someone. At the end of the day, neutral game amazing. Super game, awful
-
1 RispondiThat's what it did in D1 correct? Correct me if I'm wrong 😅

5 RisposteEscaping a tether that is well placed by a hunter takes skill. If it instantly tethered a player, it would be pretty unfair. Kinda like thunder crash. Once you hear it, you’re already dead It’s rare to escape a tether fired within proximity of you, where most escapes are only done because a player with a sword or mid super (with a mobility attack or dash) reacted fast enough to escape. Deciding that a player can’t exert a particular amount of skill to avoid a super is simply unfair. Every super should be avoidable if you have the reaction time and appropriate reaction/tools to avoid it. No super should be a guaranteed kill as long as you press the button. And if we were to decide that it instantly tethers, then we need to take away all the super armor on that super so they can get killed before releasing the arrow. Unless we want a second blade barrage, a second jump up, press it, take all the bullets, kill all the players and still live.
-
1 RispondiIt does. You hit someone, they get stopped in their tracks, along with each and every other person isn’t a 5 mile radius, while you or your teammates gun them down while they helplessly spam jump.

11 RisposteI completely disagree as here is why For starters its not meant for shotguns at all but ok. You complaint is that when you use it it dosent tether people fast enough and you die because of it. This brings me to 3 conclusions You are trying to tether a thundercrash, dawnblade You suck with aim and dont lead the shot You think you can run out, tank damage, and still use the super without dying Tether is an ability that can change the flow of a game when used with thumbs. If you hit someone with it you are almost always guaranteed a kill because of the effects it does on the player you tether. And its ability to shut down supers is un paralleled by any other. Just like every other super in the game it can be avoided when the one using it isnt great, but that does not mean it needs to be buffed. I truly do think this is a case of you simply needing to practice with the class more. A direct impact is a gg no re. End of story. You should not be dying if you tether someone period, and you shouldnt be complaining about hitting someone with a tether as they cast their super. On top of that. Anyone with half a brain will avoid a tether trap. Thats something for pve, not pvp. Its not a "haha, git gud kid", but you shouldnt be complaining about something that boils down to user error.
