That would honestly be such a headache if it does.
Unless it's just a gameplay spacific thing, for it to not be too complicated. I already have a semi one from the Blight Launcher being able too.

Orbs of Darkness?
-
20 RisposteAnd I’m here waiting for the explanation as to how we wield the Darkness without purging all of our Light and killing our Ghost in the process.
-
3 RisposteOnly the people who sided with the drifter over the vanguard that one time get to use STASIS and when d3 comes around it'll be guardians of the light Vs guardians of the dark
-
2 RisposteYknow that whole thing a while ago (think around Forsaken) when our Orbs of Light appeared darker? Could’ve just been a visual thing, but they could probably have it visually look split in half, like we’re walking a fine line in-between.
-
It would have to to maintain consistency in gameplay mechanics. Otherwise that's taking away half the reason I use supers. Sure, I want to melt stuff, but I also use them for support. It's already a boundary they are pushing saying this is a class based on "Darkness" which doesn't make much sense lore-wise, but they need to add new stuff so here we are. Maybe it's a space magic technique that Guardians adapted to use for the Light, purified so to speak.
-
5 RisposteI'd imagine we have a light version of it. Like how we will get tthe dark version of solar, arc and void.
-
6 RisposteThey had that event where there were solar, arc and void orbs so it's possible there'd be orbs of dark.
-
1 RispondiIt’ll probably make orbs of Light solely for gameplay reasons. Though, they might pull some orbs of Dark trick on us when the DLC launches, can’t be sure until it does.
-
Modificato da Barracon: 6/22/2020 10:07:26 PMThe light exists in all things, including our enemies. I always understood that when we killed something we stripped them of their light creating orbs. So in that way i see creating orbs but orbs from our self idk. Honestly I am alright if s t a s i s doesn't generate orbs of light because then that just means we must make a choice and could help balance certain gameplay out.
-
We may refine the dark with the light. In one of the lumina lore book entrues it talks something about that
-
1 RispondiI understand why it's a problematic topic lorewise but I'm pretty positive that they find a way to explain why it would happen.
-
1 RispondiWell, we aren’t going full on dark, from what I know. We’re balancing the line, so I guess you might me able to use the dark to create orbs.
-
6 RisposteNot really. We’ve been getting Orbs of Light from Dark powered enemies since orbs were made. That’s the exact same principle isn’t it? The whole interchangeable aspect of raw cosmic power has been a back burning facet of the lore for a long time. The question has been how and why. The Unveiling lore book gave some clues.
-
3 RisposteWhy wouldnt it? Light is generated from death, and you're still killing things. The new subclass isn't just "darkness", it's a combination of both because they kinda are the same power. As I've been saying, Light and Dark are Sophic Mercury and Sophic Sulfur. The New element is Sophic Salt which freezes them both together.
-
4 RisposteIt’s possible that we’ll wield Stаsis through the light, making it canon to have orbs of light, or we’ll create orbs of dark that do basically the same thing.
