Bungie, you can’t be serious about adding infusion caps. Taken king’s primary flaw was that it lacked the enjoyable arsenal that y1 of destiny had. Age of triumph was a wonderful hit because the community saw it as your apology for robbing the players of all their favorite weapons. It was the biggest slap in the face when they were taken because “we couldn’t create weapons that would compete with what we’ve already made” (I believe that was the reason that was given but I’d love a fact check). I’m really disappointed, I thought bungie had learned from the mistakes they made 5 years ago, but clearly not. I understand that power creep is a massive issue, but I’m convinced there’s an easier way around this issue that doesn’t involve insulting the player’s time investments. Please go back to the drawing boards before it’s too late, I don’t want to watch destiny die. You will lose a lot of players with this change, on a seasonal basis if they don’t like the meta, and just overall. At the very least, don’t make us earn the same weapon twice. If we hav the weapon vaulted, when you raise the infusion cap we should be able to pull it out of our vault and infuse it immediately. This is one of the worst decisions I’ve seen made in a while, and I really think there’s other ways around it. I’m clearly not the only one against this, so please listen to the community
