2 RisposteRemember back towards the end of 2015 (or 2016) when Xur showed up without a weapon for the first time? Everyone assumed it was Fate of All Fools or Gjallarhorn and Bungie removed it from his inventory a few minutes after he spawned in?? Good times.

4 RisposteThis was Bethesda-level clownish.

1 RispondiModificato da LiftAnEye: 1/30/2020 11:24:59 PMYes, but.... being here for the announcement of a cookbook was far more memorable for me.

197 RisposteIf you want perfection, don’t work with software or computers. The Division 1 had the Backpack Glitch. It was a bug that locked people out of their accounts. Took Massive almost a month to track it down and fix it. So compare not being able to play Destiny for 12 hours... ....and not being able to play a game you bought for a month.
-
11 RisposteY'all screamin and crying, but imagine if they decided "yeah, you know what? We're just simply not gonna do anything and let you guys lose all that stuff permanently". You'd still be screaming and crying like before.

We should get a microsoft loading sundial emblem for our troubles.
-
It was the best event yet bro. So glad it was hidden off the roadmap. Made the surprise so much better!
-
LOL. That was funny. Actually, I would hate the be the developer who had to work on that bug fix. Talk about stress. I'm in IT, so I know what that's like.
-
1 RispondiWell you had to be there to lose it. You had to not be there when they replaced it. You had to be there when you got back and realised there was less. You definitely had to be there to ask how something this stupid happens in the first place?
-
The answer is: YES And I missed out this event too. I am behind the curve.......
-
Personally, Im pretty pleased that their Disaster Recovery plan worked within a day for all of the accounts on multiple platforms around the world. Impressive. Their DR guy should get promoted to CEO.

Modificato da Tru-Zrue: 1/30/2020 6:10:56 PMBe happy you guys were able to get get your shit back.... Even if you are just renting. Edit: there was no undo button, so I'm sure it was hard as hell restoring all of those lost items. Loved d1, but if this were d1?.... You would have just been -blam!-ed out of your items. Yes they need to start testing this shit out before it goes live, yes they from here on should start backing up our stuff and have revert update option so this this doesn't happen again. But the fact that they were able to restore anyting and are still working with players on lost items is amazing. D1 bungie(but Activision one) would have said you just lost your items... And that's it.

2 Risposte1000 Silver please for a chance at the answer.

6 RisposteStill waiting on them to give me back all the masterworked weapons they messed up when Shadowkeep launched
-
Technically, None of us were there. The servers were shut down 🤣🤣🤣
-
1 RispondiBut we did this already, it's called D2. Still waiting for no land beyond.....
-
2 RisposteNo, but apparently it counted is “scheduled” maintenance.
-
4 RisposteHilarious that they're resorting to flat-out stealing money at this point.
-
Can't say that this didn't make me laugh. Good one.
-
1 RispondiDoes this count towards the "killed by the architects" emblem.
-
I wasnt even there and I lost my stuff. I wish I was physically present now so I can turn into Joaquin Phoenix and become Joker.
-
19 RisposteModificato da Demon_XXVII: 1/29/2020 6:46:27 AMWhen it (D2) went down (just after installing update at 6pm UK) I logged on to Destiny 1 (30 seconds from D1 screen to landing into a busy Tower, 30 more seconds & I’m in a Siva Crisis Strike) ...remembering why Destiny 1 is a superior game (darker, grittier, atmospheric) created & built by a much more inspired & creative Bungie team!
-
Absolutely. Down the road we'll be telling stories to Kindergardians about how we were there for the Great Patch Revision Episode of 2020 when Bungie took our stuff and we made them give it back. Oh the tales we will tell...
-
1 RispondiCan we get a t-shirt to commemorate the rollback...with all the proceeds going toward a studio backslapping party?
-
4 RisposteIt was a dry run for D3 launch, all our stuff gone and starting from scratch again.
