Ive been playing destiny 2 but my interest is really starting to fall off. Im thinking of going back to d1 and completing all the quests that dont require a team. What are your thoughts on destiny 2 so far?
Edit: nice to see so many of you. I have another question for you all to answer. How would you feel if they merged d1 and d2 to make 1 evolving world like they said in d2 shadowkeep vidoc?

I've played since the beta and hate Season of the Bounty.
-
Been here since the start of D1, but now I'm only lurking around the forums hoping for the game to be good again. Stopped having Destiny as my main game early last year.
-
-
I'm still here off and on.
-
this season is a little bland compared to all of destiny but overall D2 has much more content that I love.
-
I played the Destiny 1 demo on ps3 and a few weeks later I got Destiny 1, it was shortly after The Dark Below came out
-
i did this not too long after D2 launched and was complete shit. it was fun until i did the main story line, then every missionfrom every expansion was opened up and it was somewhat overwhelming but more that i just didn't want to search for what mission comes next in the dark below then house of wolves and so on and so on. i started just doing random missions from any and every expansion then just stoped playing after a while.

Still lingering like an eggy fart 😂

I played D1 beta and pre dlc but cus at the time I was 16 I had no money so I had to skip the dlcs and I ended up selling it and buying a new game... Come the D2 beta I play it and then I rebuy D1 digitally for only £20 with all the dlc it was so fun It got me to buy D2... Well that was a mistake...im a solo and have no mic so I can tell you D1 has so much you can do plus the LFG for D1 seems to be more lenient I can actually raid in D1... In D2 to this day if you have no mic you get kicked... D1 is the hobby game and D2 is the FOMO game.
-
No... Just play a new game for awhile. You're just going to burn out even more if you play the first game.
-
Me. I will stay here til the end.
-
A continuation of what D1 evolved into. D2 is just a further evolution of that. I was a D1 Beta player, 1600 hours, what we have now is so far removed from what Destiny started as back in 2014.
-
D1 is better, but I'm pretty sure I've done all there is to do there as a primarily solo player. And I've been playing Destiny since the Beta.

Modificato da xXKryptic_Kaos: 1/15/2020 1:11:56 PMI miss how venders worked in Destiny One, random rolled weapons every week, occasional overhaul of weapons and many iconic weapons to grind for.

[I’m a vet of D1 (not a beta player, joined a little after TDB dropped), and I’m gonna honestly say I prefer D2. I went back and played D1 a bit on my titan the other day, and holy shit there’s a lot we take for granted that was put into D2. More obvious ones include mantle/ledge grab, instant sparrow summon, and fast travel, but I realized playing D1 that we also take for granted things like the weapons D2 added (smgs, bows, grenade launchers, and linear fusions), class abilities, the fact that the dlc has generally been larger (rant about that in a spoiler below), public event flags (and by extension the destination map), raid banners, and (debatably) lost sectors. That’s all shit I can confidently say D2 did better.]
[alright, rant time. I can easily say D2’s dlc has been bigger and added more than D1’s dlc. For example, compared to what CoO and warmind actually added to the game files, TDB and HoW were rip offs. Seriously, CoO and warmind added entire new areas to explore while for the same price tag TDB had existing story missions and strikes in reverse for its campaign and HoW added to existing patrol zones exclusively for its missions. Additionally, Forsaken and TTK cost the same price and TTK only added one destination you could explore while Forsaken added two, introduced the first dungeon, as well as an entirely new game mode. Hell, I’d also argue the whole of the annual pass was better than the April update. Finally, Shadowkeep definitely added more than RoI. Sure, RoI did add a new area to explore, but it was a second version of a destination we already went to in that game. Meanwhile shadowkeep added a new destination to the game and actually showed it changed from how we saw it in D1. We haven’t even hit the time in D2’s life that AoT would be rolling around, but I can say that this seasonal pass system feels better than the damn content drought we had until AoT dropped. Thanks for reading my long ass rant, if you read it.]
4 RisposteI like how there's so many "d2 sucks, d1 is so much better" comments from people who seemingly can't put down d2
-
Still playing on the all white destiny bundle Ps4 😂. D1 year one Christmas noob here 🤚
-
I only played in RoI but that still means I’m a veteran right? And I have less time to play these days so I kinda like the drip feed.
-
I'm a D1 vet. Still here.
