I know you’ve increased the minimum light requirements across the board to 750 when Shadowkeep launched. This increase leveled everything out at 750 for all content pre-Shadowkeep.
I’m left scratching my head tho when I go to the Leviathan to get some weekly bounties done at 975 light. The Cabal in the Castellum still hit EXTREMELY hard. I’m just like, I just wanna get some bounties done. I don’t want this passive play to be this challenging where I’m dying from getting hit twice by a cabal rank and file trash ad.
Bungie, I don’t know what y’all are trying to prove, but not EVERYTHING needs to be extremely difficult in the game. Some people like to just chill and play casually and just get their bounties completed. Leave extremely hard content optional, like Master Nightfalls, Master Nightmare Hunts, and bring back Prestige Raids.
Make light level matter again. Don’t let our hard work in leveling up go in vain, because to be honest, it doesn’t feel like light level is even significant anymore if the ads are all going to level up to our level by default, unless they are inherently higher light than us.

6 RisposteLight level is an activity gate, nothing more, once you surpass the destined activity light level or free roam enemy light level, etc. it's normalized, that is to avoid killing everything with 1 shot.
-
Prestige raids? Yuck! Everybody hated that shit and still does.
-
Because with new light ...bungie increased the damage every add does by 50%....that is why.
-
1 Rispondione shotting everything would be stupid.
-
2 Risposte...because Bungie is actually smart and power-scales the enemies and player so that players can always play the game and not reach a point where the main core focus (fighting AI combatants and players) is rendered obsolete because they can one-tap a Knight to the body with a 200rpm scout rifle.
I'm looking at you Warframe...
I beleive Ads scale up to your power level
-
You can only be 50 power higher than mobs, giving a 10% bonus (0.2% per level) after that nothing will change, mobs often scale to your level so you see higher damage numbers but still do the same % per hit. It's kinda funny how obsessed people are with power level yet it's so useless, I see no reason to waste time on pinnacle, new activity is 850 you cap out at 900 maybe they raise it by 50 for the legend version.

Who would have guessed that raid encounters would be designed to be difficult............

Modificato da $hirtless Captain Kirk: 12/28/2019 6:35:56 PMYou're only ever 20 over the light level max. Drop the zero think of it as 2.
-
As I have said for a while, Your number increasing is not indicative of you becoming stronger, it is indicative only of becoming less weak. If you were gaining strength, you would be stomping these enemies without effort. But you aren't gaining strength, you're becoming less weak, so you can take on more difficult enemies. And yet, you do no more damage, and enemies do no less damage to you, than would happen when you were 20 light above them. Not stronger, just less weak.
-
Light level is meaningless. It's literally in lieu of a character level number. And why it starts at 750 is just dumb. Bungie is just hoping people notice you are still only about 70% at powerful as you were in vanilla d1, where the power range was 300 instead of 220 like it is now.

Bungie’s current team wants to make this game “challenging” to the “hardcore” while also catering to every type of player, which leads to a confusing mess sometimes. Enemies scale to our power depending on the area or activity, so you can one-shot an acolyte in Patrol and then get absolutely wrecked by the same acolyte in a nightfall. It is what it is.
-
It shall remain meaningless, so long as Bungie deems it meaningful

Raids are 6 player scaling
