You morons.
You single handedly took a game mode, one that already had tremendous amounts of gameplay issues, and found a way to make it worse.
Control, the mode where teams are supposed to attempt to take and hold objectives, has turned into a mess of a game mode, where everyone plays on heavy and doesn’t play the objective of the game, all because someone, somewhere in your design team decided that making a quest objective where thousands of people need to get rocket kills, and let me stress, not heavy, rocket kills, wouldn’t at all affect the gameplay of Iron Banner.
Is there anyone in that team of yours that has a sliver of forethought, the tiniest bit of experience developing meaningful quests that are engaging in the mode, rather than this abomination that you call a quest?
Is there a point to saying you are ashamed? No, there isn’t, what am I to expect from a company that alienates their player base, claims to listen, then directly and so frequently disrespects the very requests for “feedback” they hypocritically ask for.
You fall nothing short of a company that fails to make an impact, and in a few years, when an actual company comes around, one that listens, and develops a game to engage the players to enjoy the game, you sit in your studio, wondering, ever the fools, as to why your game failed, why it diminished, and why it will yield but not even a stain on the history of gaming, except to be used as an example as to what not to do.
Is this a lot for the sake of an Iron Banner quest, certainly, but is this quest not the straw that broke the metaphorical camel’s back? Absolutely.
Disgusting, terrible and just plain disrespectful. You listen about as well as an abusive spouse, who zoned out as their “significant other” pleads for them to change.
Sure, you can’t please everyone, but you are barely pleasing anyone.

2 RisposteIs anyone having the issue where Iron Fushsite isn't obtainable because the shader does not drop upon dismantling a weapon/armor with it?
-
6 Risposte
You morons.
The moment you opened up with that, your opinion lost any value. You're barely capable of providing feedback, god forbid the constructive kind.
Is this a lot for the sake of an Iron Banner quest, certainly, but is this quest not the straw that broke the metaphorical camel’s back? Absolutely.
No, it isn't. The world doesn't revolve around you. The quest also requires captures, but that doesn't fit your narrow view so of course you wouldn't mention it. Stop whining about having to step out of your comfort zone for longer than 30 seconds. Comparing the developers to an abusive spouse? Hell man.. I can't believe this community sometimes. Mindless, hateful, toxic. The only 3 words I can describe this small militant group of 500 people that resource themselves with low effort toxic cesspool posts.

let me add something else i played 2 full games without reward or progress

It could be worse..... like getting to 5500 in the comp playlist.

1 RispondiAt this point bungle are just doing it on purpose.
-
I can’t bring myself to attempt to finish the battle pass. I find myself not wanting to do any bounties or activities, this is only the second time in 6 years this game has lost me. As much as i hate to give money to activision i actually bought COD yesterday.
-
Completion tied to heavy ammo, major blunder
-
And here I am having problems getting shotgun kills. Oh well 😞
-
1 RispondiSame ol weapons, same ol armour. IB was once an event to be looked forward. Now it's a former shadow of itself due to laziness and indifference. Yr right, they should be ashamed to put this out from the studio.
-
I'm away visiting family this week, and haven't played Iron Banner yet. I won't play until Monday night, and I was kinda disappointed that I'd miss the pinnacle gear, but now it sounds like I'm not missing too much.
-
I normally don’t comment but they really did royally -blam!- up.
-
Modificato da Rainey: 12/26/2019 10:01:14 PMMy 33 matches yesterday agrees completely, and to be given regurgitated rewards makes it even worse.
-
Well converging and preventing opponents for heavy grabs has always been a legit strategy. It's just now guardians are like bugs to a bug zapper. Quite humorous. Anyways, it isn't like players were trying to win Iron Banner before. In the end its basically the same as every other IB kill bounty with folks ignoring capture points and just grinding for gear.
-
2 RisposteThere was a quest before where you had to get sword kills. Rockets are a lot easier. And it’s not that many. I’m not saying I like it, but it’s not that bad. And the 25 kills for the PVE quest from whenever isn’t that bad either. Idk why people are freaking out about it. The biggest gripe should be the fact that we’re grinding out a quest for what...the third time? Just to unlock the same armor...again?? THAT’S the outrageous part of this season’s (and for that matter, last season’s) IB.
-
Why couldn't all the steps just be retroactive? It does say at any time during Season 9 after all
-
9 RisposteGenuinely don’t see what’s so hard about throwing coil on and just running into the enemy spawn for a couple of games, everything isn’t a race to finish ASAP. There are 70+ days to get this done.

Bro, who hurt you? Which titan did this to you?

Modificato da FlamingBerserker: 12/26/2019 8:49:10 PMWhy are you people even playing it? Iron banner is pointless. The weapons are ass and the armor is nothing new. I mean damn, at least go complain about that. Edit: Lmao this -blam!- got butthurt over my comment he muted me Git gud 🤡
-
and yet you played it
-
Bruh that quest, for each character??? Mane that’s just stupid...
-
I understand where your coming from about them putting this in the quest....but it is Iron Banner and it's not suppose to be easy. I suck at pvp and I already finished 2 of my characters. I never got sweaty palms before but fighting over heavy has made them pretty sweaty lol, hiding in a corner with a wardcliff and popping out and destroying playes from no where is pretty funny. I do agree they need to step it up though.
-
I finished the quest on all three characters but I will say it was a very disconcerting and unenjoyable experience. Fact is, the only way to get it done in a reasonable amount of matches is to ignore any team objectives and to camp heavy. Of course, every other player does the same. Most games have 1-3 players dropping out after the first heavy spawn. It’s too bad as I have always liked Iron Banner despite the stale rewards. To me it just underscores a significant design issue we see with many quests and bounties. When Shadowkeep launched I convinced a couple of friends to start playing Destiny 2. These are pretty reasonable, experienced co-op game players. Both have said to me that the biggest frustration they have found is that the most efficient approach to completing many quest objectives is to simply abandon cooperative play because objectives are so rarely shared. The IB bounty illustrates this problem at its core.
-
My matches haven't been that bad, but like, heavy ammo comes up with a certain timing. If you're in that low a skill level that your team isn't able to work both objectives and the heavy ammo, well, I'm afraid I'll have to explain very simply: Heavy ammo is an objective, you're just too thick to realize it.
-
1 RispondiI agree, the thought process behind these lame quests is absolutely mind boggling. Why do I need to do a freaking quest to turn in my tokens that I've earned??? There shouldn't be a quest for this. The damn bounties are frustrating and time consuming enough as is!
-
Modificato da mxgreg: 12/26/2019 8:26:20 PMAlso, some matches are not counting progress bounties. What a bummer....
