I miss d1 armour and the non cartoonish design
🤷🏼♂️ miss everything about taken king destiny, you set the bar high and now you are missing it completely, also can trials return for the love of god please, and make it that every season or 2 you refresh the trials armour or add more ornaments to chase for a trials card, heck even throw in a nice trials ship shaders and sparrow with a emblem to, or at least do that to Comp

Updated graphics never trumped fun gameplay to me. D1 is king, D2 did not even come halfway as good. Dont care what anybody says.

4 RisposteTHIS. I’ve been fighting this fight since D2 launched, but it seems to be a losing battle. I think D2 was built on an entirely different system that seems to just present things in a more harsh, cartoonish design feel. I honestly think it’s the thing that has hurt Destiny more than anything else. It made D2 feel cheaper than D1, and therefore not worth the investment of time. Unless they can change that system before D3, I’m afraid we are stuck with what we have. Bear in mind what I’m saying is the issue is NOT the artists themselves, but the tools they are being given to work with! Giving us an option to add some film grain or something would help, but it’s def strange to turn on D1 and find it more visually pleasing than something released 4 years later.

It’s tough to say. D2 graphically is obviously superior just given the advancement in graphics but D1 armor and weapons certainly had more character and style to them.

I’d say forsaken all around blew taken king down a few pegs. Sheer amount of content, lore was pretty even I’d say, raid was better, two playable areas that were both very fulfilling, a decent story that got better and better. Not dissing ttk I absolutely loved it but I don’t feel it was this shunting light a lot of people really give it anymore. Bungies outdone it for sure at this point

D1 armor was great. I have no complaints at all. D2 armor is really pathetic and a HUGE step backwards in ALL aspects. It's clearly NOT Bungie's focus.

I miss alot of the old warlock armor from D1. Barkhan Dune, Azoth Bend, Voidfang Vestment to name a few. The armor just feels like it's missing something in this game.

Could not agree more garish bling is the name of the game now. Not sure how the Titans can jump these days those should pads are outrageous and way a ton. The last IB were not bad with the right shaders.

4 RisposteHonestly the only thing I miss the most armor design wise is warlock armor. D2 is 90% bathrobes and hobo clothing. Warlocks used to have actual armor too.

It was way worse when D2 first launched. I would say 90% of the armor looked like it was designed by middle school kids with dated graphics software. Just hideous. At least now a bunch of it looks pretty good.
