Remember D1's launch and how it was so hyped up and it just made everyone upset once it launched? That frustration never left the community. People groaned about Crotas end all the way till season of dawn (which isn't even out yet) you all call each other names or fanboys for defending the game. The devil aka Activision left the game and I've noticed a huge improvement. But with that has come some sacrifices. Bungle lost a huge amount of funding due to the separation. Dlc like the menagerie won't be coming back anytime soon, at least to the full extent) the dlcs are not expensive. I won't go into to details but yes the game has problems we all know this and no one will ever be fully happy with pvp or pve. I see some people on here complaining that have nearly light level 980 characters saying the game is boring. NO SHIT. go breath people get some air. There are alot of good games out there. Enjoy Destinys content in bursts. Appreciate the little things. If you come to a point where you hate playing strikes and crucible but you have literally nothing else to do. DO SOMETHING ELSE AND DON'T CRY ABOUT HOW THE GAME IS BAD. That being said 85% of the player base is more casual and that's why they enjoy the game more than the sweats. It's a videogame. Not a job. If you treat it like it's your job and your not getting paid. You won't have a good time.

See but like... Youre wrong. That weaponized FOMO theyre ledgering against players? Ridiculously long grinds for one weapon/shader/emblem all for a title that’s not going to be available after the season? Play casually you’re not getting that. Play hardcore and get it, you’re not going to have a fun time. Ass backwards. And Eververse? Oh lord Eververse. Supposedly Activision were the money hungry ones, yet somehow we have 5x the micros that we did under Activision. “Bungie needs to make MONEY” They need to make quality content. Quit with the reskins and start with the replay ability.

Modificato da Swiftlock: 12/8/2019 8:19:50 PMUh. No. Things like neglecting to update in-game vendors, pressuring players with FOMO and plenty of other problems make many of the criticisms valid. Complaining about complainers doesn't help anything. In fact, it's less constructive than actually complaining about the game's issues.

1 RispondiValid logic, and I appreciate the reference. Take this bump!

Sorry, but Destiny nowadays is designed to be like a job. FOMO and all that? Can't just drop in whenever I feel like it. Grind it out now or don't bother. Destiny has never been worse.
It's a videogame. Not a job. If you treat it like it's your job and your not getting paid. You won't have a good time.
You've got this completely ass backwards. Bungie are the ones who've made this game a job. It never used to be like this. I used to come on and play on my schedule. Now I've got to worry about losing content, gear and other stuff because Bungie wanted to implement FOMO. Doesn't it seem strange to you why people react like this? Why it doesn't happen it games like Warframe and Final Fantasy XIV? I shouldn't have to spell this out to people who've been here since the start. Bungie just can't seem to get things right. They make decisions that are so poorly thought out and tone-deaf they just seem to live in a bubble. We've given them umpteen chances to get their s--t together. We should not be having to go through this kind of stuff 5 - 6 years down the line. Bungie are lucky to still have people playing their game considering what they've put their own community through. Better games and companies have died out and yet Bungie somehow got through both D1 Vanilla and D2 Vanilla. Don't blame the fans and / or community for Bungie's shortcomings.

1 RispondiYep. It's our problem. *It's our problem.* You hear that, guys? It's OUR PROBLEM. 5 YEARS OF COBBLED TOGETHER, WASTED POTENTIAL IS OUR PROBLEM. Destiny 1 being ripped apart and put together again in a year before launch? OUR PROBLEM. The EXACT SAME THING happening to Destiny 2? US. Bungie setting their standards for seasons too high for their own good? OUR PROBLEM. They deserve every piece of flak for what they do, after how much they've screwed up with D2's launch, and much more previously D1. They have amazing dev teams, but the leads are a bunch of absolute -blam!- with their decisions. "Let's just make our teams make 3 consecutive DLCs a 9 month timespan! That won't backfire!" "Let's put 5 different monetization methods in one game because we love taking the piss!" I'll always be a fan of what Bungie's Developers make. But Bungie's Directors deserve zero defense for the stuff they pull. We all play the game at different paces, but our expectations are already super low. Wanna know how? We bought Shadowkeep. And liked it.

Riiiight.... Because I am somehow the exact same as every other person that plays destiny. We're all a hive mind is pretty much what you think. Don't be surprised if people don't take you seriously in life.
-
Thank you, someone finally says it.
-
Yeah dude, because we're the ones making choices at HQ that are blatantly the opposite of what we're asking for. It's our fault that trials and factions aren't back. It's our fault that shadowkeep was nothing more than a glorified cosmetic pass. It's OUR fault that for 5 years bungie has failed to meet the most basic requests of the community. Sure bud.

Agreed, I take breaks of around nine months to a year, when I return the game feels new and fresh, allowing me to enjoy it as if it were new. Most of you will spend your whole life doing the same sh1t over and over at work, don’t do this with gaming.
