As we all know, eververse is a terrible place to spend your hard earned dust.
Prices are too high for both dust and silver, the change to put eververse on the front page was... Okay, but with the adjustment from previous seasons, wherein you could earn the seasons eververse selection barring a few ornaments (like whisper and outbreak), to, earn dust from only bounties (at a unrealistic rate vs the price of some items).
And have previous stuff earnable but broken down to a different currency not applicable to the store you bought it from, isn't very cash money at all.
My proposal is this.
In a previous rant about this seasons end and the bs around reskins (seriously bungie? Putting a cabage on top doesn't make it new, may as well put a fake beard on at this point) and the expectations from the season plan (that stuff listed should be a major point in the season).
In that rant on reskins, i said that bungie should source from the community for ideas worthy of the price.
I still believe that this is doable with a total overhaul of the store, prices, sources of currency, etc...
Those who have spent a bit of time in Warframe, know that this is possible to fund a game via the community.
Not as 100% of the funding for it but partial.
You also have a rough idea of how much each item costs
75 platinum is £3.99 (plat is the premium currency)
Some items cost 100 plat, some 155, point is, theres a clear indication of what it costs you IRL.
In Destiny, there isn't really given we have two currencies for the same store.
£4.79 is 500 silver, cool, mimics warframe and others like it. But how much is that in bright dust? Given you can't buy it why should you pay more in dust for the same item vs the silver cost?
Some ornaments, exotic ships, ghosts and sparrows are £15 in silver (some ships are even worth 2000 in silver as a whole, which is absolutely nuts).
Yet the cost in dust is 3750 or higher.. why? Given the removal of a source that granted a steady income of dust, its put alot stuff out of reach for the average player.
Clan mate struggled to get 2000 for the damn broom sparrow.
There needs to be a streamlining of this pricing
My idea
Weapon/armour ornaments (regardless of rarity) - 750 silver/ 850 dust, doesn't matter if its exotic or not.
Ships - 900 silver/1000 BD
sparrow - 1000 silver/1100BD
ghost - 800silver/900BD
Emotes - 1000silver/1100BD (EXCEPTION blue emotes are 400BD no silver)
Misc (shaders, projections, ect) 40BD no silver
Any eververse armour sets are achievable through a quest that grants you 1500 BD and the full set. If you have it, you just get the dust upon completion. Completed once per week per character. Quest is semi long due to the free nature of acquisition yet is rewarding.
As like Warframe the community can also contribute to this by submissions, bungie of course vet these and work with the artists to make them useable within the game.
Community eververse items are CLEARLY MARKED and are ONLY purchasable via silver, reason? The artist wouldn't receive anything if it was bright dust, given its an ingame currency only and is not buyable.
These are all in a sperate section of the store so as they cant be confused with bungies ideas
They are also 250 silver ON TOP OF the standard price, this is so the artist gets paid for their work.
Or the artist/bungie can just straight up pit a IRL price for it.
Bungie always say they support the community... So why not put it the forefront of the store?
Thoughts?
EDIT 1: brightdust.
In regards to this, Eververse would have bounties once more accept with increased returns
Going from 100 to 300
One thing to note that EV actually helps bungie in a small way, so to take away the silver incentive would actually damage the franchise rather than help.
Every week as well there would be a bounty that gives 3 engrams, all on knock out system, items dismantled would also return 1/3 of the actual purchase cost (return could be adjusted if too generous)

This update would be great, although I do see some flaws... The current system for silver has the prices being 5.99$ or 9.99$, but the price doesn’t round up to 5.00$ or 10.00$, and it will leave a few cents that can’t be spent at all, so rounding the price to prevent the useless cash situation would be great...

1 RispondiIdea Eververse - remove Bungie - sell destiny to accompany with a passion for games Result - better longer life franchise with happier players = more money for more content

2 RisposteIts not a bad way to go, im not familiar with the watframe shop thougb. What would you suggest as an increase for sources of BD? I think the level of 10 is unworkable, but so is the giveaway we had befote where we had massive stockpiles.
