Emblem for being straight
Its about time the straight community gets an emblem and a day/month of the year to celebrate their existence.
After all, that is what equality is all about...
Collect your gold star if you get it.

To those who agreed with this post, stop being silly, you don't need an emblem. Those who disagreed on the grounds of an emblem for any specific group being silly, gold stars for you all.
That leaves those who disagreed because "gays have been discriminated against". It's true and sad but elevating one group over another in any way is not equality.
To be crystal clear for those who still don't get it. The post is a joke but the replies are VERY telling. I implore you to read some before casting judgement either way.

White/straight people dont need a month because we’re already visible and we have our stories told constantly in history, media, etc. It’s not about having a month for every group that exists, it’s about having those for groups that have been historically oppressed and haven’t been able to tell their stories.

2 Rispostepride months are usually given to groups of people who have been oppressed. straight people have never been oppressed for being straight. equality would be getting rid of all pride months, imo you shouldn't be proud for being born a certain way or even in a certain country. pride should be reserved for your own individual accomplishments (and i would include taking pride in your children's achievements in that as well, raising and supporting them and all)

When many, maybe most, non-white non-middle-to-late aged, non-middle-class demographics are marginalised or put down in some way or another (at least in 'western' countries, I can't speak for Latin, Asian, African, et al countries), then we'll be closer to equality.
