Kings Fall was the best raid in Destinys history, change my mind
Riven is extremely close to the top, but for me at least Kings Fall is one of the best. VoG was good when it was only that and Crotas End out, but now I feel as if people say its the best because of the feels they get.

Most people only say VoG is the best out of fear of being ridiculed or nostalgia. It’s an alright raid but compared to them all, it’s not that high up.

I agree. To add on this, I am sick of the Warlocks with their Vietnam War Veteran caps on saying, "Vault of Glass was the best raid, man when we were gettin' the oracles, Jimmy took a zapper in the shoulder. Griggs carried him through the portal to the center while I called in the napalm strike on Atheon from the walkie. Woo that lover burned like a Christmas tree. Charlie when down like a pile o' bricks. We called in a chopper to airlift Jimmy after we patched him up. Those were the best of times. You had to be there."

Kings fall is great, my favorite is probably Crota's end. Wrath was just good all around glitchy and and don't forget about the framerate drop on the death zamboni, But Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

Wrath was better. Kings fall was a bit too long, Oryx was cool but wasn't as intense/awesome as Aksis phase 2. Wrath by far had the most unique design too.

Really? I've never heard someone say Kings Fall was their favorite.....usually they place it at third behind Vault and Wrath (personally, I'm in the wrath for best d1 raid party tbh)

Honestly that’s the same problem with all of them in D2 as well. VOG and Crota had weapons that dropped from them (that weren’t exotics) that people felt like they absolutely had to have... That’s not the case with any raid since.

WOM was my favorite. Rewards alone were some of the best.

My personal list goes: Wrath of The Machine Vault of Glass King's Fall Crota's End Scourge of The Past Crown of Sorrows Last Wish Leviathan is all equally terrible.

Wrath of the Machine is up there with Kings Fall for me. The death wall coming at your team and then collecting parts was always intense and enjoyable. The boss mechanics required everyone to participate in mechanics, but still gave a little wiggle room for clutch plays to stop wipe mechanic.

Wrath of the Machine was the best for the sole reason that it was FUN. I loved doing that raid, not because of its challenge or anything like that, but because I had a super enjoyable time with it!

1 RispondiKings had the best 'raid like' mechanics out of all of the Destiny 1 raids. It needed to be more fleshed out though which hinders it in my mind. VoG is overrated. Sorry, it was the first raid but it didn't do anything unique if you think about it. We just redid alot of what VoG did all across D1 but we just praise it for... no real reason besides great gear. Its good, but not a masterpiece. Crota was... crota. WotM was too easy for me to keep my attention unfortunately. It felt like a great raid but it was far too easy where many of the encounters felt like they were half an ecounter instead of a full encounter. Zambonie felt finished.

Raids need to be more focused on damage output by players, and less mechanics. I feel like every raid now requires you to be a certain subclass with certain exotics.

I enjoyed it but only because the people I was with. If it wasn't such a buggy mess I would probably have a much higher opinion of it

Hated that raid. It’s a matter of opinion though. I liked vog and wrath of the machine the best.
