I hate the crucible
I wish, the crucible wasn't so prevalent in quest steps..A lil crucible is okay but damn..I gotta play 25 matches of competitive, 25 rumble, 25 quick play. That's alot.

im pretty much pver, pvp was my past genre now i have to get chaperone shotgun kill in gambit or crucible which i do not like it. For 150 and 100 the grind is pain.

Most quests dont need PVP from what i can remember. The Redrix Broadsword quest comes from Lord Shaxx, why wouldnt it have all PVP?

2 RisposteThen [i]DON’T PLAY IT[/i]. None of the weapons in crucible are absolutely necessary for PvE, you can accomplish the same result with OutBreak Perfected +Loaded question+ wendigo, all of which are earnable in PvE.

crucible is fun, I'm not shitposting here, I really enjoy it, and no I'm not the kind of person to use erentil, I only used it once for the fusion rifle kills in the iron banner quest, or lunas/not forgotten, I use whatever weapon I feel like and it's fun

If you in no haste, then leave QP for next IB. For me this iteration was faster than QP and many matches ended early (yes, some by mercy rule, including last four against same players despite "breaking up":D). Rumble is pretty fun (I was sincerely surprised), and Comp? Well, it's comp. Of 14 matches I played for now I won 3. Yes, I like Redrix so much I picked up quest on two other characters and now I'm on this step for them as well. In case someone wandering why I do think that person, responsible for matchmaking is more incompetent at that than I am in PvP. :D

1 RispondiYou've had 9+ months to work on that one, just needed to do one game every 3-4 days and you would have done it by now. These pinnacle quests are meant to be grindy and done over a long time period. What do you think about having 5 resets in one season? Its probably the longest step. Lol

3 RisposteYou have to want it to get it. Prior to this quest, I never really played any Rumble. I found it helped me as the 1v1 scenarios forced me to change my reads to win battles. I’m not a strong PVP player, so I just look at it as a way to step out of my comfort zone and work on improving. Same with the Revoker quest. I pretty much never picked up a sniper before. I’ve found that with a lot of practice, I’ve become somewhat decent at it. It’s always good to add a little bit of variety to your skill-set. I’m still terrible with a HC and a shotgun, but I’m willing to work on that to improve. I always try to challenge myself to broaden my abilities. Each game I try to learn something from my teammates and opponents alike. Good luck on your quest !

75 matches ain’t that bad. The 25 comp matches are arguably the worst part. But it was doing those matches that helped me realize last season I could get Luna/Recluse/MT. Gonna help you with the 5 resets you need too(I hope you knew about that bit too or you’ll REALLY have a fit).

Its a pain but not that bad. I did Redrix, Revoker and all the steps for Lunas ( except for reaching 2100 ) in about 16 days, I'm sure it took some people way less time. Now I just need 482 points for recluse and LH.

I did 29 competitive matches to get to fabled over a period of time this season. Took me longer last season and even longer the season before. Just look at it as killing 2 birds with one stone. You could end up getting Luna, Recluse, Mountaintop in the meantime. You don’t have to get the sniper kills in there, so you can get those in QP. Don’t rage, don’t tilt, take breaks and realize you don’t have to do all 25 in one sit down. I’m average at best but I used the reset bonus to my advantage the last few seasons when I figured out the best strategy. Luna, then recluse, and now Mountaintop this season. The thing you have to realize is that the strategy in Comp. is completely different than QP. Got to 1850 solo and then helped a buddy this season. We 2 manned the rest of the way.

Redrix's Quest..... The 25 matches of QP are going to be torture. Comp is tolerable. The Rumble matches were actually fun. Skill matching. No team shooting. A lot less heavy ammo and super-spam.

Just go in and spam emotes and jump off the ledge! Or you can minimize the window and watch tv. Just move your control stick every few seconds.

It doesn't say it has to be done in 1 day right? Play like 5-10 games each day and you will be fine. It just takes a little longer. But less frustrating. :) I don't hate crucible. I hate the fact that Bungie ignores all issues and cheaters.

Yeah, sucks to have to play Crucible to get a pinnacle Crucible weapon, such as Redrik's Broadsword. Or you could just choose not to. Like I did with Luna's Howl.

His mission: keep Guardians so busy killinng each other, complaining about each other's subclass abilities, and NERFING each other... we don't have time or energy to defend the system from Cabal invasion. With no Crucible, with Guardians focused on only destroying the enemy, we'd have fried the Fallen, hammered the Hive, vaporized the Vex, crunched the Cabal, and terminated the Taken.

3 RisposteI suck at pvp but managed to get my 5th valor reset last night to get redrix. It is time consuming and I hear the gun isn't worth it now but I was too far down the road to stop 😉 good luck.
