In my belief it’s not fun it’s terrible and it’s nothing but a chore and it hurts my brain.
-
It has been a real grind, some members of my clan did the green but once they saw what they had to do on the blue they just gave up. A couple of the guys got 1 set of Majestic and are happy with that, I for my sins did 3 sets!!!! why you ask, I don't know other than the bragging rights lol Maxing out the Majestic was fun, 200k Nightfall/2 man Shattered Throne loved both.
-
I skipped this one. The armor is practically the same as last years (maybe the glows are different, sure as hell not gonna spend bright dust on that gaudy shit) and it’s not really my taste, if you like it cool, it just doesn’t seem worth doing the event for to me. At least last years event included the beefed up missions, I had fun doing those. The EAZ is interesting in its layout, but the structure of the activity in it is just another timed rush, pretty much make me not care or appreciate my surroundings and just hurl myself from objective to objective, it’s just irritating. Never mind all the gambit requirements, that was just an automatic “hell no”. I am looking forward to the new armor 2.0 and the reworked moon in shadowkeep, but until then it’ll be just business as usual for me.

3 RisposteI haven’t even finished my first set lol
-
I thought it was fun. But that's mainly because I only have one character I really use. So I got everything out of the way quickly and have just been able to enjoy the solstice without the grind. I didn't think said grind was all too bad either. I just popped on some music or hopped in a party and just went to work on the grind.
-
If there wasn't the stupid PvP/Gambit requirements, the event would be a lot more enjoyable. As for what it is right now, it's not perfect but pretty tolerable.
-
The EAZ is a fun activity, but the goals on the armor do not do it any favors.
-
Nope it’s a chore. On my third character (did Hunter, Titan now on Warlock) but it’s got to a point where I just want to get it over with... surely these ‘celebratory’ events should be fun?! Having beaten 250 mini bosses the grind does tend to tarnish your experience of what would have been a generally fun place to explore in the EAZ. I think I’m the only person on my friends list who’s actually been bothered to try for all 3... it’s just a rather tedious treadmill for an armor set we will all probably replace in a month or twos time because we want that new look in shadowkeep. I’m not discounting of course that rather generic looking sparrow I probably owned once before in SRL?

Modificato da shanephoenix30: 8/19/2019 2:24:52 PMno it's a pain in the A.S.S i started to do a little bit last time but i quit
-
I've just been playing as normal. I've never set foot in the EAZ lol.

1 RispondiI'd vote for "somewhere in between". Yes the grind for all 3 sets was really bad. Maybe the 2nd and 3rd set should have received a reduction in the grind, say maybe the requirements are halved for the 2nd set and you would only need to do 1/3 on the 3rd set. I was "lucky" and had the extra time to play this month, and was able to do all 3, but the majority of players probably didn't get to. I had some fun during the grind, but it was a bit excessive at times. Were the end rewards worth the grind? Well that is most certainly debatable.
-
Where’s the meh option? I like the buff system, but the armor was a bit much.
-
I think it's awesome because of the empowerments and buffs. They are so much fun!
-
Last Solstice I completed all 3 toons for the ship. This year I didn't even log in to the game. Destiny 2 is not fun and has never been fun to play since Day 1. My 40+ clan coming over from D1 all disappeared very quickly in D2 and I am sure we weren't alone in that. That should have been a very loud signal to Bungie but apparently it fell on deaf and uncaring ears.
-
1 Rispondiive played extremely casual during solstice, so i don't have a strong opinion either way. i feel like it's pretty easy. you just play the game and ya don't even have to win the pvp & gambit matches which is a blessing. that being said, the whole event is basically a chore, any "celebration" event is lame without SRL
-
I enjoyed working through the first set, but I burned out partway into the blue of my second. I'm probably just gonna leave it at one character. I'm not even wearing it anymore.
-
1 RispondiI'm not bothering with it since the vendors will have 2.0 armor right off the bat
-
No this was to much of a grind and I barely got two characters the full set but I don’t have it in me to get the third one done or even masterwork it.
-
They should have made you do all that on the 1st one only and then half on the second and maybe a third on the third. And I know I’m late to get this and I know it’s not that great, but the Redrix quest has made me NEVER EVER want to play crucible again. And I still have to reset my rank 1 more time!
-
It would have been nice to have the full info on armour 2.0 before it started. I'm guessing a lot less people would have bothered if they'd known you can just go get any other set and it'll be 2.0 A few legendary shards or 20+ hours of grind, what a choice?
-
1 RispondiThe buff effects from getting the elemental orb of the day x30 are cool.
-
21 RisposteThese poll results disturb me, since the event is literally just playing the game. The people that voted no need to find a different game to play.
-
I'd say it's fun but pretty shallow, like I'm not gonna get pissed off at a free event but I'm not gonna sing it's praises either
-
Its a bit excessive at times, but overall its been okay It has taught me some very interesting things though as I paced myself through two majestic sets and the last 2 steps for my Warlocks majestic set 1:
this ones super obvious
crucible is in a bad state right now, it's fun in the first half, but once supers start then it just becomes a constant state of "I gotta run away" which in all faorness, Bungie is overhauling PvP so I'm tolerating it 2: gambit is incredibly boring, there needs to be more variety to it, maybe different game modes, which is saying something because I loved gambit in forsaken, I reset 3 times and its never changed at all after that until gambit prime, which wasnt even a big change, just added roles, new maps and a shorter version of gambit. 3: patrolling is surprisingly fun, but should have more to do than patrol missions, lost sectors, bounties, and public events 4: strikes need more insentive, it just aint fun to do the same thing over and over with no real rewards outside of prime rewards Again though, I think Bungie is going to change alot of this so I'm okay with it all for now
-
1 Rispondiit's pretty good honestly, would like more events like this, the armor itself is not grindy unless you're masterworking them
-
its the same question like, is destiny in its current state fun?
-
2 RisposteIts a waste of time.
