Here we go again. I’m sick and tired of people blaming video games over mass shootings after what happened at El Paso and Dayton. What does video games have to do with this shit? Why are video games getting involved every time when a mass shooting happens? It’s like this every single year. This shit is annoying and needs to stop.
The only thing they should be focused on right now are the issues on what is causing these mass shootings to happen. Video games are not one of them, even the ones that include guns like call of duty for example. It pisses me off whenever this gets mentioned because they act like this is gonna turn us into killers. WRONG!!!
Keep video games out of real world situations. Stop getting them involved in shit that has nothing to do with what’s going on
Edit: Now trump is blaming video games for mass shootings. My god this man and the US is such a joke. People like him makes me sick

I did a project once on whether or not video games make people more aggressive. The data I gathered was too inconsistent to show video games have any connection to violence, leading me to believe that it's due to several uncontrollable factors such as a person's background.

11 RisposteSome people were also upset the other day because in the next Call of Duty, White Phosphorus is a killstreak in multiplayer
-
3 RisposteI haven't seen anyone doing that. The new hip thing to do is to blame the media for everything.

It’s the same type of knee jerk reaction my fellow conservatives have that progressives have with another inanimate object. Both are just swinging in the dark hoping to get lucky.

I blame far cry 5 for this. It teaches you how to weaponize shovels. Ban games.

1 RispondiI’d only blame video games if the shooter tried to build a wooden wall during his rampage.

2 RisposteThe friggen 5 o’clock news often talks about worse stuff than most video games.

Forknife is too violent

TV is worse than video games but news will NEVER tell you that. Wanna know why? It affects their ratings. Besides that, people often times look for a scapegoat, often times completely ignoring the real issue till it becomes something else entirely.

Blame everything and anything that isn't directly putting money in your pocket I'd assume.

5 RisposteWhere are your links?

Awww s**t, here we go again

Don't get too worked up about it, people would rather you complaining about video games in media than the actual problem.
-
That’s a strange thing to get worked up over.

People like to blame things they don't like on things they don't like... regardless of the facts. They do so because it's easier than actually admitting the problem and trying to find a reasonable solution to it. If they weren't blaming video games... they'd be blaming metal... or blaming cabbages... or some other innocent product/service.
