Will you play the Menagerie after Tuesday ?

22 RispostePeople who claim that the Managerie isn't worth the time if you only get one chest open simply baffle me. Managerie is the single most efficient grind in terms of specific rolls out of all of the activities in the entire game. The aspect of choosing what loot you want to receive, along with what masterwork coupled with the fact that most runs (even all blueberries) can be completed in about 15 minutes means that there is no other activity that even comes close if you're seeking a specific roll. There's nothing to grind for in strikes outside of pinnacle weapons, and the same goes for crucible. Reckoning and Gambit Prime have pathetically low drop rates for weapons, which makes the grind incredibly long. Forges would be efficient, but between the frame calibration and the multiple trips to Ada, it's still a very long grind. Don't get me wrong, the Managerie will certainly be less efficient as a loot grinder after tomorrow, but it'll still be very much worth it. Especially when rune bonus 3 enables you to get 2 rolls per open

1 RispondiThe "not worth my time" reason is crap. Video games are not really time spent of genuine worth. Play games because they are fun. Not for arbitrary rewards.

I definitely wont run any beyond the powerful rewards anymore. I ran Menagerie last night and opened 5 chests... 2 of those gave double rewards. I dismantled 6 of the 7 Austringer hand cannons because of crap rolls and the one I kept had an okay roll with extended barrel, range masterwork, flared magwell, outlaw, and rampage.

Or how about leveling up in general, when you need a pair of boots, but still can't get it? If you guys can put up with those, I think you can put up with 1 drop per Menagerie run, if the glitch didn't exist, people would still sing it's praises to kingdom come like they already have when Opulence came out. Even with the glitch gone, it'll still be more beneficial than leveling ever has.

4 RisposteIf there limiting the drop it needs to be one for each encounter. It takes to long for just one item. Would you run the raid if the only drop you got was from the last boss ? I don’t think so .

Thankfully I've played loot games long enough not to get dragged into this god role farming mentality. God roles are super rare and the lucky few that get god roles on top tear guns are just that, incredibly lucky and Franky I like it that way. A quick Google and I see the chaces of getting perfect god roles are all less than 0.0091 according to one Reddit user. Which is around what I would expect. Just to put into perspective how silly it is that people complain they have got, let's even say 100 roles and haven't gotten the role they want. Why would you even expect the role with odds like that. People used to farm god roles on weapons they couldn't even guarantee to drop in d1, what do you think the chance were on getting those roles! But that's what kept alot of us playing for all that time, the difference is we didn't expect anything. Even if you got a bad role you'd keep it until you got better. The change down to one cheat is fine. The problem is people can guarantee items and so now they expect and that's the problem they expect a certian role and it's kinda madness too with odds like that. Of course the grind is too much, it's designed to be.

I’ve got the armor on all 3 toons , and I’ve got my preferred rolled guns so I’m pretty good . Still need to run heroic which I’ll get to. To answer you question , nah probably not . Will I miss the 3 / 4 chest opens at the end . Yeah sadly . It will be a run a week and won’t touch it again .

nope. not worth my time. i did a mini session like the video you posted. same exact weapon. except i was going for a different roll than him. but i gave up after 7 runs because i just couldn't take anymore . i was just completely burnt out on Menagerie for the night. came away with 42 hand cannons. and not 1 of them was a good roll. not god roll. not 1 of them was even a good roll . trashed all 42. no way i'm ever going to run this when i only get 1 weapon.
