Just a thought... Load us directly into the Tower
Could we spawn into the tower immediately upon log in? Or maybe a clan hall?
I'm sure most like to pick up bounties before getting into an activity, so it would remove some of the time spent in loading menus.

I mean the Game doesn't know which character you want to play or on which planet you want to go. So what is it loading for two minutes? Just to load directly again when you have picked a planet. Never got this. I have an external SSD for my PS4 but even with it, it takes quite a long time. I really hope they come up with more streaming in the background in a possible Destiny 3.

We have a radio that works for solar-system-long distances and doesn't have any delay. We have a transmat to teleport things. 5 RisposteHow about bringing back a bounty board so I don't need to make sure I walk to each individual and claim each set of bounties. Something I (probably not others) would appreciate is a board like in D1 where it shows all the bounties and the weeklies would be on the NPCs for RPG factors.

The option would be nice, some selectable tick-box in the settings. Personally I like loading into orbit as I don't always go straight to the tower but I can see how many would like that choice.

Got a better idea, remove that press x to start BS and just directly send us to character screen. I don’t wanna see that 20 year old ass logo.

But if I decide to go to an activity first that's extra load time just for going into the tower first.

2 RisposteReally don’t like this idea. I go there a couple times a play session to grab bounties and decrypt primes. I’d rather not needlessly take time to load into the tower every time I log in. Sure, it’s my first destination the first time I log in every day but apart from that it seems like a waste of time to me

Don't get too attached to the tower, they will blow it up in D3 anyway.

I’d be alright with it being an optional thing. Me personally though, most of the time I just like to jump into things, and most bounties are pretty useless to me. Especially if I only have half an hour to play or something, I don’t want to spend 10 minutes of that loading into the tower when I didnt even Intend to go there myself. Could do something like gta v where you hold a button while loading to go to the tower instead of orbit.

1 RispondiJust a thought... No, please do not do this. It is being suggested completely on the assumption that the first thing people wanna do when they load in is go to the tower. In addition, it takes far longer to load into the tower than to orbit.

Why not load in with every available bounty (from Tower) on the Pursuits page and you pay for it when you finish/claim? So, it’s like a credit system, if you are short on glimmers or whatever material for the cost of bounties, you are allowed to easily preview the bounties when you log on and go on about doing them without “worrying” about not having enough to “buy” them first and not have enough time to finish them. In addition, why not have a link in Directory for bounties like that showing the daily modifiers for Strikes show what to do to complete bounties? Just like how you can see progress on Flash Point planet, why can’t we see progress and contents of daily/weekly bounties for each activity like Gambit, Strike, Dreaming City, etc. in the Directory pages should we have all bounties preloaded in the Pursuits page well organized? They could give all vendor spaces to Eververse in the Tower for big spenders to shop there.

3 RisposteBut why would they do that.... you waste time in orbit, you waste time loading in, your star time running between vendors to get your bounties, you waste time flying between worlds, you waste time going to the vendor in world to get bounties...... all this wasted time is “time played” according to Bungles statistics and makes the game look better to investors.

3 RisposteThis would be a very expensive thing for Bungie to implement. The server instances hosting the Tower are setup on-demand via containers or virtual instances. This is why you'll sometimes see a long delay before loading in and then when you finally do load in, you suddenly appear next to several other guardians all loading in. This is also why you get kicked to orbit instead of kicked back to the tower. This would increase the number of tower server instances significantly. Your "orbit" status is processed client side -- on your hardware.

If they're going to force is to go to the gunsmith everyday to survive in this core economy then they definitely need to do something. I'd rather be able to pick up bounties from orbit personally, but I wouldn't mind spawning into the tower as well. Now that e can fly straight to any location without going to orbit I would be fine with spawning in the tower when I turn the game on. As soon who played back when you had to fly back to the bounty person to cash them in, I can complete so much more now that I can cash the bounty in from anywhere. It's basically just a message, I don't know why I can't get them from orbit, or better yet, why not have every available bounty listed in my menu all the time? Why is there a limit to how many I can carry?
