Actually, I suspect that it may end up being a heavy weapon (possibly a Machine Gun or Rocket Launcher). Now why do I say this? Well, if we look at the pinnacle weapons from the past couple seasons (post-Forsaken, so not including LH/NF), we’ve gotten the Mountaintop (a Kinetic Grenade Launcher) and then the Recluse (an Energy SMG). Season of the Forge gave us a Kinetic Special Weapon belonging to a weapon class that had been on the rise popularity wise (but then died down). Season of the Drifter gave us an Energy Primary belonging to a weapon class that sees VERY little play (Recluse is easily the most used SMG at the moment). So we have Kinetic Special of rising weapon class, followed by Energy Primary of an unorthodox weapon class. So what’s not to say that we’ll get a Heavy Weapon (probably Rocket Launcher, as Gambit has a Machine Gun) as the pinnacle weapon next season?

I don't want a sniper tbh Sniper metas are much less fun than shotgun metas. At least with shotguns people actually play instead of headglitch corners all game

Sounds like an instant dismantle. We need a legendary trace rifle same rpm as the doctrine then it would be worth it. With a toggle of burst fire to it.
