Suicide is now the best way to counter Spectral Blades
No joke, my buddy has a 5 year old son who is fascinated by Destiny. He was running crucible the other day, popped his Spectral Blades, and handed the controller to his son. Little dude got 3 kills just mashing away at the buttons. Skill-based pvp, lol? Currently, there exists no counter to Spectral Blades. None.
If you're ahead on points, best option is to just suicide yourself to preserve the win.

But have it nuke the map like in COD.. Hunters rule.

LOL. I've done this before. I'll just jump off a cliff whenever a Spectral Blades super gets activated near me. There's no point in doing anything else. That super is almost impossible to stop.

Been doing this for a bit now. I just take his advantage away, and make it where they cant drop orbs. Pisses them off and even set a youtuber cerridius on a rage. My question is if bungie knows it gives a real unfair advantage why not just disable the exotic peice that causes it to be OP.

some game modes give a point to the other team if you misadventure but it's still a good idea to do so since they won't get more super energy from gwisin vest if you know you can't kill them before they kill you

Chaos Reach trashes spectral blades. Any good Warlock who knows how to properly cancel Chaos Reach can effectively own a spectral blade. In fact, when used efficiently, it can kill two or more spectral blades. Great to have in Comp.

I don't enjoy using spectral blades that much at all.. but I'm not afraid to admit I'm crutching that sh** all the way to fabled lol

How is it that I hit a Spectral Blade Hunter with my super that only loose a small amount of health they swipe me twice and I’m dead?

If I'm in a disadvantageous position or I see that he's already wiped half my team, I'm definitely looking for a map edge. It's the only super that is such bullshit that I will do that on a regular basis.

Boop it. You can boop away most supers if you're close enough, which is usually the case with Spectral Blades, FoH, Stormtrance and Nova Warp.

4 RisposteAlthough I don’t care what happens to spectral blades, I’ll just throw a counter arguement out there. 1. Almost every super in this game requires 0 skill 2. Also shutdown supers are countertop it. Examples (Tether, FoH, Nova Bomb, GG, Sentinel, Chaos Reach). That’s all I’ve got😂.

4 RisposteIf u gona talk about supers just talk about them in general Striker titan is just as spamable and strong .. dawn blade can literally fly 2 times from one side to the other and both of them extend the super by kills Hunters don't have that !!! Supers need to have less armor that way it will get balanced cuz nerffing spectral is just unfair

I understand your frustrated but using your argument, a 5 year old can get 3 kills with the majority of supers: Nova Bomb in Air Free Kill Panic Titan Smash Lock on Warlock Dawn Blade Super Nova Warp ( Literally don't aim at anyone just be near) Sorry to say my dude but, spectral blades is fine, learn the game more.

I just kept spamming the spinning melee attack and it kills them instantly. Just gotta use super to counter super.

ha i was killed in spectral last night by blade barrage, titan slam, nova bomb, chaos reach, tether and hand cannon, shotgun, scout rifle, golden gun, tickle fingers, the list goes on. so i switched to tether and became less sucky.
