Suicide is now the best way to counter Spectral Blades
No joke, my buddy has a 5 year old son who is fascinated by Destiny. He was running crucible the other day, popped his Spectral Blades, and handed the controller to his son. Little dude got 3 kills just mashing away at the buttons. Skill-based pvp, lol? Currently, there exists no counter to Spectral Blades. None.
If you're ahead on points, best option is to just suicide yourself to preserve the win.

1 RispondiI took a guy down yesterday using my trust while he was using spectral. Granted, he popped it wide out in the open and ran straight towards me lol. But it can be done.

Oh wait i can just go play halo or gears. You could also tether Thunder crash Chaos reach Dawnblade Nova bomb FoH To kill the spectral user.

1 Rispondii find it fitting that both the worst and best super in crucible belong to the void hunter subclass if spectral is to receive a nerf i want my long awaited buff to the bow. You know a super is bad when a grenade does a better job.

some days the sun even shines on a dogs azz seriously when i pop spectral blades they all run away. impossible to catch and kill anyone unless you bump into them. any player with any speed buff can outrun it

1 RispondiShutting down or evading spectral blades is not difficult. If you're on an organized fireteam shutting them down is easy and if you're running solo evading them is easy. The problem here are players who just stand there and shoot their weapons at a roaming super and then get mad when they are killed.

1 Rispondiit is strong but it has counters. Nova Bomb counters, Fist of Havoc counters, Tractor Cannon counters. It needs it's tankiness nerfed but it has counters.

At least my sacrifice will have saved 2-3 team mates 😂😂 Honestly: Spectral Blades, Striker Titan, and maybe Arc Staff and Dawnblade all need some armor nerfs.

Well, not really. :P However, I'll stick to my Blade Barrage because I don't have to run after the super fast Titans and Warlocks. Spectral Blades is very slow and any Titan or Warlock can outrun it. Do not jump high because R2 heavy strikes will come after you. Just run or skate, and never look back. SB will not be able to catch up. They'll run out of gas before you know it. Now, they can catch you off guard because after each kill, they can go invisible. If you're not aware of your surroundings, they're gonna get you. But that's all on you. Don't blame the super for your own faults. Now, on the suicides, you should be penalized for that. Perhaps, a point or two should be deducted from your score. I think that's only fair.

Spectral is actually one of the easiest supers to evade cause 1) the slower movement speed when swiping and 2) it's a melee super.... seriously just jump in the air as you run

If I’m with two other teammates and we have good sight lines I’ll stick around to fight. If I’m by myself and I don’t have a nova bomb charged I’m waiting as long as a can to safety jump off the map. That super last way to long and I can’t find a counter using primary and special weapons. You can’t even run from it if he gets close. This is only a good idea in clash. The other game modes killing yourselves will hurt the team.

Just Buff other supers (including Hunter's other super) Apparently Spectral Blades Hunter is a chosen character for the High Skilled players..make it seems very OP. In fact maybe it just a little bit OP...Those High Skilled player still kill you with the worse Super in the game anyway. Just like Y1,Y2 D1 Blade Dancer. I against any nerf to that super. That's make other Super Under dog...I am just fine with it. And if it really fun...I will have fun playing as a Spectral Blades when someday I play my Hunter. Just what I did in D1 Blade Dancer. When I took brake from my Titan. ( Main Titan )

7 Risposteexcept nova bomb, titan smash, team shooting, any suppressing ability/weapon, ranged supers, well played close range supers, and jumping (not to your death). Besides, if someone can get killed by a 5 year old (even if he is using a super) they are obviously not that great of a player.

This is why we need an optional spawn like in d1. If i want to wait 10 seconds after dying so that I can change weapons or not get spawned onto the same super that just killed me, I should be able to.
