Telesto traps are doing 0 damage
I don't care how much you guys hate telesto or how much I get downvoted... This keeps happening today... You can't blame lag here. They are on the ground and people walk right across them unphased.

I really don't care if I die when I'm out played, but when you hit someone point blank with a grenade launcher or you have someone run through an entire burst of telesto and they don't die, something is wrong... When you put 3 full bursts from blast furnace into a warlock and they walk away unharmed, something is wrong... I'm really starting to question why I've devoted so much of my free time to this community.

1 RispondiFirst off your internet is trash second titans get a small invincibility frame while using shoulder charge which is why he did not die.You are completely wrong on the damage part he took some but most was wasted on the shoulder charge and if you are going to camp at least have enough since yo swap to another weopon or lace the whole room with traps.

4 RisposteWhen bungie nerf something (especially) exotic they absolutely destroy it! They have always done this and always will! I’ve not seen telesto is pvp since it was ruined! I know they said they brought it in to line with other fusions but it’s an exotic so should feel exotic

It may definitely be lag, just not on your end. I’ve ended up throwing just about nothing less than a Jötunn burst to another player’s face and it did squat, not even kill-trading. With Bungie’s “peerless” Peer2Peer system, the host connection doesn’t guarantee everyone’s hooked up to the connection the right way. When this is the case, a lot of damage instances aren’t applied, even if the person you’re firing at isn’t teleporting all over the place.

1 RispondiIt took a hard nerf in PvE as well. And people around here foolishly believed it was actually being buffed in PvE, lol. Never believe the patch notes. Loaded question and Jotunn are the replacements.

5 RisposteHaving a crutch is bad in a competitive environment, but I agree with this post, the effectiveness of telesto at a range was the issue, placing traps on the floor is often a tactical deployment such as placing a barricade to block off high traffic areas of the map. If an exotics exotic perk is useless at its job then something needs to be addressed... Op isn't asking for their crutch back their asking for telesto's exotic perk to do its job...

4 RisposteOne little thing, you need to understand that the high resilience amour of that player could reduce the damage so 3 burst of blast furnace don't always really mean a kill as you imagine.

Saw a bunch of the same in iron banner last night. It almost comical how people take this game seriously when shenanigans like this take place more often than not. Also has anyone found that peeps are playing the objective?

Although, it does work good in the Iron Banner, where level advantages are in play. I was able to kill a guy by setting a trap last night. So satisfying when that works.

I don't think the devs play pvp enough to realize that Telesto was one of the very few weapons you could use defensively against stacked premades. You know the kind that are probably naming you on their headsets and looking for you in unison. Your animation illustrates how extreme the nerf was. The balls no longer do any damage unless they hit the opponent directly while in the air.
