It's Friday And I Still Haven't Played Crimson Doubles
I've been busy this week with work, and yesterday was Valentines Day so spent it with the fam, but I pulled some Crimson Doubles bounties on Tuesday, I think, and still haven't slid a toe into those bloody waters.
Scanning the boards tells me that it's a pinnacle weapons fest, and I don't really have a partner, so I'd have to rely on matchmaking to find my Crimson Double.
Thinking I just might stick to the forges and to Mars for the last bits of stuff I need (Ikelos SG, Strange Terrain RL, two sleeper nodes in Dynamo Observation) for Wayfarer RNGesus (who still hasn't saved me; where's the blood RNGesus? Where's the blood?).
Noticing this bloody post is starting to ramble, so I'll sign out, here.

I don't think you need to play any of the mode to get all of the stuff Shaxx is offering. He has two bounties every day that don't require PvP and finishing eight bounties gets you an extra 100 hearts. I played a few matches on Tuesday and that was enough for me.

It can get intense. A buddy and I beat these 2 guys running dust rock blues, not forgottens, and wardcliff coils. Pretty sweaty loadouts. We beat them 2 to 1 and on the 4th round one of them disconnects and joins back but we already beat the other 1 by that point. After the game the dude spams party invites. I join with my cup ready to scoop up some salt and this kid goes off. 😂 Him: " You're reported for ddossing, that's punishable by 22 years in prison it's illegal. You dirty Mexican. F---ing ddosiing me. You white kid." Soo much salt 😂 Then he messages me that he's going to report me for racially attacking HIM even though he's the one racially attacking me. As well as getting police involved. Then he starts impersonating an 'ambassador' at Microsoft. Whatever the hell that means. Him: "Enjoy ban for ddossing. Reported for calling me the n word and wanting to burn me." Even though I never brought up any race. I just laughed at him for being a sore loser and advised him to not have his xbox connected to a potato. Overall it was a good day. My friend and I beat a racist at a 2v2 in crimson doubles. 😊

I honestly tried to force myself to play crimson doubles..it was fun for maybe a day or 2 before the constant jotuns, lunas crutch and so on. I got the bow and honestly I could care less for the chocolate ghost shell tbh. It's just a returning skin. And the valor points didn't even feel doubled. They better triple the valor points soon.

It’s not nearly as bad as they are making it sound. I actually saw a ton of bows which I think everyone can agree are def not pinnacle. I really enjoyed doubles and hope that they make it a rotating playlist.

It's Saturday and I haven't touched destiny at all. I play pretty religiously, but lately I just don't find the enjoyment in the game. I am really frustrated where the game is right now. Even with the improvements since year 1,D2 just doesn't have the feel of D1,and I find that very disappointing.

Haven't done crimson doubles, cant rely on friends to do that with me. Or trust matchmaking (not sure if it can do matchmaking), cuz I know I will lose for sure and get bad loot rewards.....just like destiny 1 crucible Dx 6 v 1 and I'm the single player in the team. People left my team or that I had bad connection at the time xD

You can get a better bow to drop from a vendor so don't lose any sleep over it honestly unless your a collector.

1 RispondiI mean if it’s the bow you want, you can just get a partner, do a nightfall and turn in the bounty. Then do 2 crimson days matches. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, just finish 2 matches. Then turn in the bounty for “two matchmade activities” and that’s enough to get the bow. This took me like 45 minutes at the most.

3 RisposteI got the bow and done. They can keep their condensed sweat fest. Honestly, I'm surprised the board wasn't on fire because 2/3 of the new event content is locked behind paying Tess. I don't count the shell as new, we had that in D1.

Me either, but I never intended to. The new game release schedule this week was pretty good. I have no time for last years rehash.

The only reason to play the pvp is for triumphs and the turd ghost. The rest of the stuff you can get from doing the bounties.

I got everything playing solo and I missed doubles last year so there was a lot to grind for. The bow is a good one so at least get that.

All I did was 2 of the 2 man nightfalls got the bow and signed off. Haven’t played since.

I played some on Tues and Weds. I’m not even sure if MM was in effect but my Tues experience was meh, and the Weds one was prolly the most fun I had in PvP since never. Weds my clannie and me played 10 and finished on on 8 game win streak. We had a few butthole clenchers that could crack a walnut but it was good. That’s how a Pvp match should feel instead of getting rolled up like a polyvinyleurathane doll after a sweaty session with an ugly lonely dude.

I just played a couple matches this morning, first time on Dustiny this week. Gonna run the 2-man nightfall tonight to get enough to pick up that bow (for completionist reasons) and then go back to RE2. I feel you
