Bungie with future development please quit crowding PvP players into small rooms and narrow corridors. You you will never balance any weapon meta if you keep throwing combatants into small mazed up maps. Bigger maps open up the usability of all weapons types and doesn’t allow niche weapons to break the game. Instead of breaking the meta on all great weapons just create maps that make us rethink our loadouts. More open spaces like D1 Skyshock and First Light. Use a shotgun on those maps and you are toast.
Not that hard people. How do you not have this anymore?

3 RispostePvP maps were all designed for 4v4. Many PvPr's shouted for 6v6, so they were given 6v6, without ever understanding how cluttered this would make the maps. I agree all future maps should be created with this in mind, but the community got what it asked for and has complained incessantly ever since.
-
1 RispondiI’d rather have smaller PVP teams.
-
1 RispondiOh really? i remember the large maps with vehicles back in D1. Almost everyone was leaving as soon as the game started.
-
9 Risposte
not that hard
Not sure youve ever designed a map for a video game, esspecially pvp "making bigger maps" means more effort needs to be put into designing and structuring the map to assure few or no exploits, they have to make the map visually distinctive as well as lore-friendly, they cant just slap blood gulch with a new color of paint and say "its the new map" Saying "just make bigger maps" is kinda like telling a mechanic to make your mustang into a monster truck, there is nothing "just" about it.
-
2 RisposteI’m actually with you on this because the maps they had on D1 were crazy cool. Besides some of them.
-
God i remember skyshock and first light....great maps the rewarded sticking together and actually planning out attacks, not to mention long range combat, and aspect that really isnt seen in pvp anymore aside from bows and i still rarely see bows in pvp save for the miniscule pvp aspect of invading in gambit
-
Man do you guys remember d1 moon map? That map was amazing
-
I loved Last Light and that Mara big map in D1.
-
Luna and shotgun cancerous would complaining
-
Ok you can have bigger maps. All bungie needs to do is merge one map into another but the downside to this is that you would have less maps to utilise ...... which is fine with me it just means more resources for pve. The less bungie support the idiots in competitive play the better
-
Yes please. These maps juuuuust cater to Luna’s/Nf/, and shotguns. And I’m over it tbh
-
Modificato da Viguier: 2/15/2019 5:44:16 PMI agree, but players would still wait in corner to slide shotgun.
-
Bigger PVP maps and faction wars should be a thing. Big 50v50 matches with vehicles enabled.
-
4 RisposteOr make the guardians smaller...hmmmm 🤔
-
Everyone wanted Combined Arms back after that tank mission in vanilla. Do eeeeett!
-
🤝 Agreed
-
And buff sidearms to compliment the bigger maps - bungie logic 2019
-
I dont think it's just about bigger maps. Look at Crimson Days 2v2 where the maps are huge for 4 people. In most of my games the fighting is in one tiny area over power ammo while the rest of the map goes unused Bigger maps won't do anything without a reason to use all that space
-
2 RisposteYes I'm sick of small maps that don't have good scout rifle sight lines. It's just Dust Rock Blues in the face from around the corner or from behind a rock like constantly. lol.
-
Yes!!!!!!
-
what? I'm in a spawn point kill trap all the time and i can't understand what you are saying...
-

-
At least make or remake tons of 6v6 maps.
-
This I can agree with the maps are to small for the team sizes they have and they use the small maps for doubles but something has to change

Pvp also had the Scout meta, and Garden Prophecy/MIDA/and the scout from zavala that had explosive rounds at one point reigned supreme. Since that nerf, scouts honestly have never been the same since.
