U start with 2. It's not that it's not good, it's that it's good at shotgun range, ok at mid range, and pretty good at long range vs scouts or snipers. It's bad at hitting moving targets and u gotta give up a shotgun or sniper or fusion or launcher to use it and I'm not sure where it's niche is. It's great for hitting a group of teamshotting or taking down a straight line rusher but is that worth the loss of a shotty? It's decent with Luna's but they are both kinda mid range guns. U almost hafta jump n shoot down so top tree Dawnblade might be really good. I dunno it's a rather strange weapon. Since they gave launchers 16 shots in pve it's quite good there.
