Since No Mans Sky? That is soooo 2016, you probably mean overhyped garbage since Fallout 76.
-
Dude save some fish for us! Your bait was amazing! That’s the biggest haul I’ve seen in 2019!

Modificato da Neon: 2/12/2019 4:25:50 PMSadly Apex Legends has dragged me away from Destiny 2 at the moment actually. Maybe I'll come for Crimson days for triumphs and lore and that one loot box dance I'm missing but that's it. Apex something new and refreshing. Old concept. New content. Anthem looks like a flop though so.
-
If BioWare makes Anthem work for the players, and doesn’t try to make the players work for the game, like Bungie does with Destiny, it’ll be at least decently successful. Many people look forward to a less rigid experience where they can play the activities they like to earn gear instead of having their experience so heavily dictated for them.
-
2 RisposteIn Anthem, not only can you see the mountain, not only can you go over to it....you can fly circles around it and over it! Oh and water doesn't kill you, lol.
-
4 RisposteNo doubt people are going to shit all over it and I'll have my first masterwork by the time you limp-noodles have finished. All aboard the hate train!
-
There is no way Anthem can be worse than Destiny 2! With all the feedback about Destiny, Bioware just had to be listening and making adjustments. I know I would if I was a developer.
-
EA behind it I personally have no faith.
-
I hope not. NMS has become a decent game after the fact, which is impressive. I enjoyed playing it for a time, and will probably go back to it again eventually. That said, I hope Anthem doesn't flunk out. It'd be nice to see more great games.
-
4 RisposteThere’s at least 4 games this year that will take most of the destiny community away, apex legends looks good, the division 2 will be great and casual pve players won’t know the difference between destiny and anthem, then when cyberpunk drops pretty sure there won’t be much left for destiny
-
1 RispondiApex has already nerfed my friends list of the few remaining lost guardians still playing D2. Anthem could take 0 players fom D2 and itd still be in trouble.
-
3 RisposteI agree. The movement in the game is really cool - but that’s about it. Gunplay is trash. I am excited for Anthem to get rid of a bunch of these pve tryhards that would rather shoot a Dreg over an over then let pvp players have something like Trials. I hope you all have fun playing your spreadsheet simulator.

Keep whistling past that graveyard. NMS failed because it was released probably 18 months to 2 years too early....and Sony marketed the game as if it were a AAA game rather than the Indie game it really was. So expectations got set that the game NEVER had any realistic hope of meeting. What was released was more of a game ENGINE, than a game. NOW, the game is really what should have been launched. I still don't like the game....but I can still respect it as AMAZING work for a studio of Hello Games' size. Anthem is a different story. I've played the closed alpha...and both demos (betas). BioWare has something very special on its hands. If BioWare gets the end-game right....this game will be like catnip for loot-based RPG gamers. A game that is deeper and a more satisfying game play loop than Diablo 3....and a game that is far more accessible than Warframe. The risk it poses to Destiny is that most of Destiny's PVE players have no allegiance to FPS's....so Destiny's slick gunplay can only go so far to overcome the increasingly shallow, tedious and frustrating RPG experience that Destiny is becoming. Bungie has made the game more and more grindy and inaccessible....while stripping the game of the rewards for that increased level of grinding that they're demanding. IOW the grind isn't make the game any more enjoyable....or the experience of play any deeper. Whereas, in just the TINY slice of the game that Bioware has shown us...I've had more fun in the two weeks of playng Anthem than I've had in the last 4 months of playing Destiny. That is how shallow and frustrating that Destiny has become. I've also been able to delve into more complex build-making and a wider variety of play options than Destiny currently permits. ...and to this veteran gamer, the game play (I'm a game play snob) is just as satisfying as that of Destiny. Its different....but just as enjoyable.

I wouldn’t know and I don’t have any interest in finding out.
-
No, NMS was far more overhyped. People aren't as hyped for Anthem just because EA is on the box.

29 RisposteModificato da albinomachina: 2/9/2019 8:45:28 PMI had more fun in two days of Anthem than I did in the last 6 months of D2 combined. D2 is already uninstalled, and my week of vacation from work for Anthem's release has been approved. I can't wait;13 days and counting.
-
70 RisposteModificato da Ant Heuser Kush: 2/10/2019 7:33:50 AMNo enhancement cores. No PvP balances. Matchmaking for every activity. Free DLC. Everything can be earned in-game. Constant updates. The story. The ever evolving world. The shaper storms. Grinding for the perfect roll. Being able to play what I want for a chance at loot. The Storm. Flying around. Being rewarded for my time. Progression isn't time-gated. Why I'm hyped. You can have the annual pass and recycled exotics. Eat that shit up... all 100 of you.
-
yup then all the people are gonna go crying back to destiny
-
Nope, it'll do fine as long as the servers can hamdle launch day
-
One man's lie
-
Nuh uh.
-
Overhyped? Probably. But garbage? Meh, don't really agree. Demo was good fun imo. Still looking forward to it.
-
This has been moved to off topic. Thank you for giving us a place to talk about Anthem on the Bungie forums. Good day to you, sir. Now reports against don't matter if I bring up Anthem in a thread about Anthem.

2 RisposteModificato da H1vac: 2/10/2019 4:25:02 PMHopefully it recovers and actually becomes good. Punish the EA overlords for a change. Edit: also No Man’s sky has recovered.
-
Eh, I don't think it will be garbage, but I also don't think it will be anywhere near as good as Mass Effect 1 or 2, heck ME3 will probably be better.
-
Even if it’s over hyped like the other games one of the main differences I can tell is the transparency with the game they have had so many live streams gameplay videos and they lined up with the demo aside from the technical issues we know what we are getting hell we now know the content drop layout for what’s to come
