Well let me unwind you a little tale about these -blam!-ing servers if the video link isn't enough to describe my problem: I blow through the ascendant challenge with ease, get the Ahamkara bones, do a little dance, kill the boss, and go to retrieve the chest. Now I know what you're thinking "why didn't you grab the chest?". Well, my A button on my XB1 controller likes to stick, and with Stompies and Triple Jump on, I didn't want to accidentally jump through the portal without grabbing the chest or the rest of the Taken Eggs in the challenge. Smart thinking, right? Sort of? Okay, maybe not really, but I didn't feel like running through the challenge again. So I move off the platform, unstick my button, which caused me to activate my jumps. I land on the platform below, jump back up to the platform ready to receive my loot and then - - - - - - Booted to main menu and I'm a hair's breath away from the chest. Wasting my time, effort, and last Tincture. I just closed Destiny and never logged in that same night. Thanks Bungie.
