Is it bad that i dont even try to win gambit matches when im solo?
Honestly as unfun as this game mode is for solo players, and with how boring the gambit meta is i just stopped trying to win. I only go in for breakneck and to clear my bounties now so i can get dredgen title. And before the keyboard warriors come in and say just make your own team. Tried that and it took 40 minutes to get a four stack going. You know what happened then? We did the same thing everyone else did and it was -blam!-ing BORING.

If any solo que player is a serious about trying to win they have a problem. I'll play, and good, but I'm not mad when dipshits ruin thr win or some dick with queen breaker causes my 3 team mayes to drop 45 motes.

2 RispostePeople like you are the reason solo play usually has losses. I play solo almost 100% of the time and yet i still get dozens of invading kills, hardly ever lose motes unless moron teammates deposit 3 motes instead of letting me put in 15, and have no problem clearing the adds of the prime so the rest of the team doesn't die, because i run tether. Get good or get out.

I solo played all 40 matches. Move with your team to the bank and then to the next point. Pay attention to how many motes the people around you have. Don’t pick up that one if someone has 14. If you don’t have motes when you get invaded, go kill the invader. The whole solo thing is an excuse for your poor teamwork.

You’re an idiot if it took you 40 min to get a group together. I had never really played gambit pre season 5, I hopped on Xbox’s lfg app and found group after group basically immediately either through my own post or responding to others. Throwing games while playing solo is obnoxious.

3 RisposteModificato da STARWoLF00: 12/4/2018 6:22:58 AMYes it is bad. When you are solo you should be super focused on the objective. Don’t hold on to motes, watch for the enemy portal prepare for the invader. Have some tracking rockets, sniper, eww linear fusion 🤢 😷 Clear adds. Etc.

2 RisposteIta not that bad man. Folks take it so serious. Its a pve pvp mix hybrid mode. Who cares. Go in knock out bounties and power gear and move on. The changes they made to gambit were good for the mode. For the team who gets boss first its an actual advantage now. Positive changes based on our feedback. What else do you want? The only thing i would change about gambit is the ability for invader to see the position of other team at all times. I think it should pulse every 2 seconds.

1 RispondiI play on PC, so Discord lets me assemble teams in minutes. Breakneck is nice, but Redrix still has better ranged DPS if you can hit head shots consistently.

I play solo Gambit a lot I get always matched against 4 stacked almost 90% of the time but still I win a lot cuz super sweaty banking I messaged my clan mates and made a team of three (not even four) and played 6 games and won them all So yeah ...

(That's right, you don't need to bank 15 every damn time people!) I'll kill blockers (because for some reason, people don't even acknowledge them until there are like 3 Ogres and 30 phalanx in the middle. Then they go to bank 15 and blame you when they die... lol) If I get heavy, I'll kill the invader or invade if nobody else wants to. I typically run tractor cannon for Primeval debuff since for some reason, whenever I am on a team with a sunbreaker, they completely forget that melting point is a thing. If I have bounties, I focus on those. Sometimes we lose, win, stomp or get stomped.
