This is Destiny in it's "BEST EVER" form?
Quickplay Crucible: Fireteams farming blueberries
Competitive Crucible: 5000 Glory vs 500 Glory
Gambit: 4-stack with Synthoceps, Well of Radiance
Nightfall: Too easy to care about, no matchmaking
Heroic Strikes: Renamed "Vanguard Strikes"
Strikes: Merged with Heroic Strikes for being pointless
Trials of the Nine: Removed for being dead
Factions: Removed for being pointless
Tokens: Pointless as vendors don't reset stock
Materials: Pointless as they can be purchased from Spider
Xur: Mostly pointless, unless you're new
Weapon Telemetries: Pointless to the -blam!-ing max
Mods: Underused because of inability to acquire components
Masterworks: Underused because of Enhancement Core cost
Bounties: Annoying to collect, can't be hoarded
Power level: Pointless if you're overleveled
Collections: Pointless since you can't retrieve most gear
Seals: Locked behind RNG
But at least the music/art is nice and gunplay is fun???

... I actually like going up against 6 stacks, it's quite entertaining and makes for big kill games, and yes, I use Luna and Chaperone... [spoiler]not included in the DLC[/spoiler]

I believe HoW was destiny's best form but to be fair on your points. Quick play: the same it has always been Competitive: EXISTS Gambit: EXISTS And most of the things you said are pointless are the same as D1.

Quick play undoubtedly has SBMM integrated once again- despite its unpopularity; as every single game I’ve played in the last three weeks has been against players as good or better than me (1.6+). So if there are any blueberries- I’m sure not seeing them. What I would do for a relaxed match..

I´m a full time working family father. Also I´m coaching a youth basketball team. So - I don´t have much time playing games like Destiny anymore. I started playing Destiny since D1 beta and I love the potential of this game. Somehow I keep playing it with it´s ups and downs - hoping it´ll get better at the end of the day. I think it´s unique how Bungie seems to have the ability to fix and break something else at the same time. The last bummer I had is that I wanted to reset my Gambit lvl for the second time in this season. I won´t make it until reset. Why ? Not only I had to face the Titan Warlock Combo Fireteams as a solo player with only two blueberries but also because Destiny 2 Servers in my area aren´t available anymore. Can´t log in since 3 days Bungie... this is really sad and annoying. I think "JHarv" hits the nail on the head with his post... Time for RDR2 and other games I guess...

I have never seen the disparity that you mention in comp and have played about 250 games this season, 99% of which have been solo. People can use whatever they like in gambit

For me it peaked back when we had Crota and Vault to do every week and there were actually people excited to do NF then raid on reset day. It is better for me now than it has been for most of D2.

Make masterwork cores drop from more sources and more of them. I have never infused so little since it was possible to infuse in this game. Add SBMM into QP. And match people is Comp in the same tier. Bring D1 maps back. Remastered [i][u]NOT[/u][/i] reimagined. Allow the gunsmith to sell all materials for a small cost. The economy is the worst it’s ever been. I don’t even use mods because none of them are very good. I’d use the target acquisition mod but banshee only sells 1 a day and I don’t care to keep looking. Sell all of them or half for a small cost.
